That might work and sounds like a good idea, still makes things a bit more complicated. It could lead us in giving proofs and long explanations of all what was done on certain pic, which is not a problem because you usually know what you are doing and how long it lasted.
But such proofs and explanations may make things complicated in the way that it could be very time consuming, making us more focused on it than work per se. With the photography there is a way to know what modifications were done with the specific tools. But when we have drawn pics such tools don't work on them. So basically no clear proofs. I am afraid that submitting pics in other formats that shows layers and other details is not an option  - first, to submit them to whom to investigate?; second, so much work for the one who would go through it. All in all, it would be too bureaucratic. Maybe something like 'before' and 'after' would work, yet too much work for the investigator whom we don't have by the way. Showing such thing to the players - I guess it won't mean much.

You don't need a whole lot proofs and explanations do you ? I'm assuming if you're a shopworker you have enough credibility and integrity to tell the truth . Just take a note on the time was spent and the honest difficulty it was to recolour such an item..? But that's for normal shop worker , any body else who is new or something should provide the program used. I'm just saying for the people who usually get into it.

I'm only a recolorer/occasional designer, but what about B$ for recolors and Diamonds left for entirely new items or refittings? With slightly higher payments for Diamond items. That is a system I'd be fine with. It'd give more incentive to create entirely new content.

As far as recolors still taking awhile, that is true, but it's definitely a less advanced skillset required imo. And I'm not saying that the prices paid should be that much lower, but Diamonds are a more versatile/rarer currency so it'd make sense to not pay everything in that.

Like if a new item paid out like idk, 10 Diamonds, maybe a recolor would be 80 B$. And perhaps different categories would have different prices associated with them? Idek. Just throwing stuff out there to see what sticks. Lol!

I feel like a system that rewards quantity is kinda prone to a flood of items (recolors or new things), made just for the sake of increasin' the total number of items made. I fear it would lower the overall quality of the uploads. And what of the shop workers who realign items and fix issues on existin' items, how would that be measured? :/

That's a valid concern, but couldn't shop workers just show discretion about what they add? And/or maybe add a max cap. Like, even if you submit more than like 6 colors of something, you won't get paid more for them, or the amount paid will be cut drastically for each after that number.

[EDIT for elaboration] Like say a new dress was worth 40 Diamonds, the first 4 additional colors could be an additional 5 Diamonds, and then after that only 1 additional? Or say a recolor is worth 80 B$, the first 5 are that, and then after that 10 B$ with a max of 12 total or something like that depending on the category.

We also have to keep in mind that it'll have to be whatever the admin is fine with anyway. [end of EDIT]

And of course, shop workers who do other actions should have a pay system for their work! I have no idea how the inner workings of the shop go whatsoever, so I can't speak on it. I'm more than happy to make their own sheet or repurpose the current one for them, etc! I'd just have to receive some guidance on what to do. :)

Honestly, making different prices for each type of recolor sounds actually pretty complicated and it creates more work again. Especially if only certain amount of new colors gave you money. Soon you will be too busy to count how many colors you can add and filling the spreadsheet instead of doing recolors lol :D
In my opinion we should keep things simple. If some (requested) item is too hard or time-consuming to recolor, just don't do it. Seriously, you are volunteering after all, you don't have to do anything, if you guys don't want to.

My suggestion at this point is:
- Monthly fee/senatorship for shopworkers, maybe adjusting items could be included in this, since its the certain group of bimbos who have access to the shop (I guess all of them are active)
- Set prices for recolors and designs
- Use Xtinas spreadsheet system and share it with all shopworkers, designers, re-colorers

Agree on that... we should keep things as simple as possible.

On adjusting items... I am afraid we have bigger problem with boob job clothes than it seems at first sight. We know about uploading issues. What I learned later is that items in boob job closet just move sometimes on their own. I went through most of them already, and few days ago I checked some tops out of curiosity. They were moved again, even I am sure I repositioned them already before. It probably means that we should check on boob job clothes more regularly because of that issue. Such thing doesn't happen in small boobs closed. Only tops, dresses, lingeries and coats for boob job are affected. It would be helpful if boob job players report such issues more regularly, instead of waiting for us to check the whole closet every now and then. Going through the whole closets in order to find moved items is very time consuming.

I haven't commented on this yet I don't think.. think I started to but got distracted.. but like I have done both recolors and drawing.Recoloring is pretty straightforward and doesn't really require a lot of skill as many people have said. Also, it seems to me that almost all of the shop workers have this skill and have already been doing recolors. IMO I don't really think there is a desperate need for additional people making recolors when all the existing shop workers already do this. It is why I stopped bothering with recolors over all. There just doesn't seem to be a huge need for more people seeking to make recolors with the hope of getting paid to do them.
Is it that the shop workers do not like doing this aspect or want to get away from doing them?
As for new items.. idk how there should be a compensation for them. Not to sound rude but I have seen some new items made that have zero quality and idk who would buy them.. but maybe it is just my taste. There are perhaps a lot of people that do not like my designs I made as well. If the items are not selling or beneficial to the game in some way why should the game designers pay for low quality items? Personally I would just be happy to get a copy of any items I have made without me having to pay for them. I made them because they were items I liked and wanted to wear with the hope that maybe some other bimbos would like them as well. Also, almost every item I have made I have made in multiple colors.styles. In my limited experience with BT they do not seem to be gungho about compensating people.. and the existing shop worker team deserve to be compensated for their daily work over designers at this time.
I am not saying that designers shouldn't have some sort of compensation (I would love it since I personally fall into this category), I am just saying we really should focus on trying to get something for the shop workers first before we go adding stipulations about designers because we may end up with nothing at all.... and the shop workers definitely need to be compensated...

Also.. just on a side note, I would really like to know what is the policy for getting jobs in Bimboland... PB & SM are pretty straightforward on how you get those.. but there doesn't seem to be a way to know how to become a Forum Guardian or a shop worker...is it "who you know" politics or is there a set policy?

How you become a shop worker I have no idea. But I became a Forum Guardian because I was asked by the Prime Bimbo at the time. There were no FG's before that and I was pretty active in the forum already. And I am quiet knowledgeable about the game. That is why I was asked. I also know Alexstrasza was asked to become FG by Starbuck, but I have no idea why Starbuck choose Alexstrasza at the time. As she was a new player then. And Starbuck has become pretty inactive so I guess we can't ask her.

Thanks so much Sandi for sharing. I hope that statement I made didn't sound accusatory or offensive. I just am curious really, I personally have no desire to be in either of those 'hotseat' positions lol.... I really appreciate your being open enough to converse about the topic. I get the feeling that some of these topics make some people feel defensive but I don't see what harm there could be in knowing, I assume there are others in game that wonder these things as well. But it is a little off topic so I am sorry for posting it here... If there is more of an interest in that information made a new thread can be opened for it.
