i agree. sort of. but "cancelling" and "accountability" are two different things.
people with power being held accountable for their shitty behaviour is super important and many of these people who whine about cancel culture are just mad that they're being called out because the voiceless are now able to share the same social platforms as them (i see you JK Rowling)
BUT
taking people's worst moments and problematic tweets and using this as a judgement of their entire character and worth as a human being, (without actually engaging with them to try to explain why it was wrong and giving them the opportunity to do better) and skipping straight to condemnation isn't really a good look

some people are just assholes who will never change their shitty ways and some people just did a fucked up thing and deserve an opportunity to right their wrongs, i see too many people try to paint them with the same brush
how do u judge who gets to change and who doesn't?
yes, education is necessary, but "cancel culture" is almost always used as a strawman to complain about what used to be called things like SJWs, cultural marxists etc. and other dogwhistles.
the people who end up having to educate others are usually the ones most affected, and for whom educating takes an emotional AND physical toll -- usually black LGBT people. why is that?

the beauty industry is a scam (not just makeup but the skincare industry too) and needing to wear makeup to feel beautiful or confident shouldn't be normalized

What's wrong with the term enby? I'm just curious, if you don't want to be referred to as such that's a totally valid preference and should always be respected but a lot of people self-identify as enby/nb, myself included

I literally had no idea what any of these were until you just brought them up but based on what I pulled up about them on Google cottagecore seems to be based more on Medieval European themes than anything else? What does this have to do with Native culture?

Practicing body positivity is just as crucial for thin people as it is for plus-sized individuals. Bodily insecurities can happen to anyone at any size, and I feel like it's important for those with a more svelte figure to feel confident and beautiful too - especially in a day and age where exaggerated, often surgically-enhanced curves have become the mainstream media's most common standard of beauty for women and femmes. Very few femmes are naturally blessed with a size 2 waist, toned, thick thighs, big perky boobs and and two watermelons for butt cheeks but that doesn't mean we shouldn't love our bodies just as much as those who are!

first to correct you, "Native culture" isn't necessarily a thing - "Native cultures" is more appropriate as Native people are not a monolith! secondly the basis of cottagecore is revolved around the idea of "moving to a piece of land and growing crops" but that take tends to be a lot more nuanced and ignores the plight of Indigenous people and our relationship with the land + how colonialism has tried to take that away. it's rooted in fascist propaganda based ON the idea of colonialism and purchasing private property, which again ignores Indigenous people and our sovereign nations.

"cryptidcore" is a whole other minefield i'm not articulate enough to explain but from my personal experience cryptid communities seem to throw around a lot of Indigenous figures and have painted them as these ~spooky~ creatures (such as the w*ndigo) when these figures have their own respected place within each culture. that's as far as i can explain as my experience as a Native person though
