This is not a contradiction in the slightest (at least not in my own opinion). Ximbo.land while it does have other features, such as a community forum. That may be the case but, It only strengthens my confusion on how anybody could genuinely, wholeheartedly believe that a true 'Internet Republic' could ever actually exist in the way that you have described your vision. Short of having the website moderators democratically elected by the players, It is not physically possible to do unfortunately.

Democratic elections for in game positions of power, is something the vast majority of community based games do. From Minecraft to Garry's Mod to Arma 3. All of which are games where you actually have a character that for all intents and purposes is 'you' where you can walk around, visit locations have a job, a house and interact with other people and form meaningful relationships. Thinking about it, all of those games are far closer to an 'internet republic' than this is or will ever be.  It's actually my decade spent playing in communities such as those that make me feel qualified to talk on the subject.

You'll have to forgive the sarcastic aggression, it's simply the way I talk, I genuinely don't mean any disrespect. While you're correct that the glue that holds together any game similar to bimbo land (and there are plenty) is the community, first and foremost it is a game. The community by definition would not exist without the game, if the dress up did not exist, this website wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is. Without the game - this would be nothing more than yet another in a long line of internet discussion message boards.

This is good to hear, from what I understand, you aren't particularly hands on with the website. But at least you have what you would consider it's best interests at heart. There's plenty of other community based games where the creator simply couldn't give a fuck. However, what you need to understand is - the GAME is what draws in the people. The forum in which the community interacts always comes second to that, with the exception of you and I there's unlikely to be anybody on this website the completely ignored the dress up and solely uses the community forum. this is because the community forum actively contributes to progress in the dress up game. However, there is probably at least a few players that have never touched the community forum and solely play the dress up game.

With a proverbial Venn diagram, you can see that the majority of player activity occurs in the dress up game. By contributing more updates to this part, instead of trying to force politics and push your own agenda of what this website is supposed to be onto the player base, you'll see that the player base increases and the community along with it. Which in and of itself makes your political objectives more likely to occur as more people join the site. As it stands, the only kind of updates that occur on this website are quality of life changes like adding a new menu button to hide overly long flavour texts on people's profiles. Meanwhile, the community is screaming for more updates to the actual dress up portion of the website - which simply doesn't happen. If you actually pay attention to what the community wants, very very few players if any are asking for additional political opportunity.

Again, I don't play the game - I've addressed the technicalities of this further up. And I haven't asserted this website to be "just a game" you have inferred that on your own. In actuality what I have asserted, is the bimbo land is "First and foremost a game" ergo, dress up game should be top priority, the rest will follow.

Yes I am interested in money. I am already fortunate in teh sense I have worked hard and taken enough chances to have built up above average personal wealth. But I am a conservative with a small 'c'. By that I mean I don't like to do things 'just for money' . There has to be a bigger mission and personal project than just the 'money' element. Take Trump for example whom is a big C conservative/republican. Hes so money orientated and brash - make shim vacuous and boring. 
So yes Ximboland is about money to some degree and I would love top grow and enter the 'super rich' category of people one day but on the back of creating and growing interesting/ground breaking and valuable businesses.
I do believe Ximboland is in the category of being an interesting and ground-breaking business model but we are a long way off its potential yet. And I dont envisage its future being only in the community/game elements. I believe the future of Ximboland is being opened up to more users by having a more social media profile sitting somewhere between facebook (left leaning) and twitter (right leaning).

At least you're honest about money, most people wouldn't be. What follows about your aim to transition into a politically diverse social media site is a perfectly reasonable goal. However, what you've put out so far has not aligned with that vision, what you've put out so far comes across as though you already believe the site to have reached that point - or at least to some degree; which is simply not the case.

And to be perfectly honest, you haven't exactly made an already challenging goal any easier for yourself, your aims are already hindered by the marketing of this website. Having it literally called "Bimbo Land" doesn't exactly scream 'come and create your virtual self and live in a true democratic society' what it actually gives off is 'come and roleplay and unleash you inner dirty bitch'. I suspect this was your original goal when this website was founded, that is to say, I believe your original goal was so make a somewhat politically satirical 'society' in which the citizens are all sex hungry nymphomaniacs. As a straight man myself, I admit, we've all fantasized about it.

This is a fair assessment, some people do give a fuck about the politics. But not in the way in which you want them to give a fuck. There are very few players however, that actively play on this website because they want to actively engage in political discussion over dressing up their avatar.

I think we are going to have to agree to disagree on some thing's here - the biggest difference being that you maintain that people are here for the game whilst I believe that people are here for the brand/the community/democracy led brand. The reason I believe this is that I have also launched 3 or 4 other fashion/dress up led games before under different brands and they all bombed pretty quickly. So why does the bimbo/Ximboland fashion game survive? In my view it is because of the strength of brand and because of the strength of the underlying community/democracy. The game is not unique but the community/democracy led brand is defo unique. 

Your dates are somewhat out as well - I have been a himbo and working on Miss Bimbo since 2006. That was a whirlwind time through to 2012 and it was during this time that i learned about teh power of the Bimbo brand. There were a few floors with MissBimbo.com though that i corrected with teh launch of Bimboland/Ximboland in 2014. Those floors were namely that MissBimbo was too strongly female orientated and therefore did not welcome males/himbos. And also the community was not community/democracy led. So these were the major improvements. Also I brough in Karol at this time whom has been a great coding leader and a stalwart in making sure the site is strong, online robust and accessible.

To tell the truth I have always viewed the game element as a 'stepping stone' to other social media and community elements because thats where i believe the real strength and interesting things lie. That's not to say we will not have the gaming side of things - of course we will and of course our bimbo avatars are always going to be at the centre of Ximboland but I think there is a lot more to explore in the social media/entertainment side of things as well.

Now to your point about democracy being tried on other platforms eg minecraft. I have not seen anything like us before. Minecraft itself is not a democvarcy. Yes there are some small areas within it that claim to be but they are not as effective as Ximboland. We are being harsh on ourselves here - despite our flaws we have been a pretty effective democracy for the last 5/6 years right? In general we are quite impressive. Yes we have work to do and we are far from perfect but why are you so downbeat about what we have achieved? This is the time for me to personally thank all the previous PBs, state ministers, fashion police, judiciary, civil service and Bimbo citizens for playing their part on where we are today. Lets not give up! 

And to your point about us never being able to create an Internet nation.
Well I believe you are being unnecessarily negative and downbeat here also.

A Democracy doesn’t exist on just voting.  Without a Constitution that is worshipped as the highest law of the land…higher than Pink House and Miss Bimbo herself….

Look at those rules.  They are only a year and a half old.  Toki’s rules which preceded this were much more elaborate.
They have been greatly simplified now…probably to make things easier for the people who have to push the button…

Yes perhaps we have all taken our eyes off teh ball and not held the powers that be to account enough. Me included. Oh well - Bimbos are bimbos after all and its time to make things right again.

Since most of the bimbos in power are right wing anti sjw etc, I have observed bimbos being able to harass and act in highly inappropriate ways in the name of making fun of what they deem woke or sjw. They receive no real consequences and are friends with the people in power of the game. That makes any political engagement by people who does not share this right wing view pointless because the "government" is biased. Id rather just enjoy the game and the friendships Ive made here... If you raise your voice you are met with aggression and condecending responses. But for some reason its okay to harass people in racist and transphobic ways.... It makes no sense... So its not really a democracy is it??

Some random thoughts, so I apologize if I'm all over the map here: Some of us are just here to have a little fun and play dress-up games, make and share cute, sexy outfits, view other peoples' creative looks and react, share gifs, etc.  We have enough hassle and strife in our real lives, that we don't need it in our little fantasy online lives.  Real life is political enough.

Those of us who have no interest in the politics of this site, or any interest in paying real money to play or running for office ourselves just want to be left alone to have our fun.  I keep supporting L, my state minister, because I think she does a great job and lets us Agnosticans have a good, fun "Ximboland" life.  None of this should really be taken very seriously, because at the end of the day this is just a GAME afterall, and nothing that happens here has any bearing on real life.  I think some of the people who play this game need to chill out.

The whole renaming this site to Ximboland was really silly.  Was "Bimboland" too offensive?  What?  Who was actually offended by that, and if you were, don't you have more important things to worry about?  So yeah, there is some "wokeness" for sure, but what does "woke" even mean anymore?  Those of us who didn't like the name change moved on and kept playing because we liked the game regardless of the name.  It made little difference to the core of what made Bimboland fun!  It'd be like if they renamed Tetris to BlockDrop; stupid, pointless decision, but same game so still fun regardless of the name.

A few people posting have made some really unfair generalizations.  Some people think that that world would be a better place if men didn't tend to dominate politics.  Really?  Have you seen how catty and petty some women can be toward each other?  People are people, and power is power, regardless of gender.  Ocasio-Cortez is insane and hostile, for example, and I hope to heck she never becomes President of the US!  That would be a dangerous disaster.

Some people have suggested that "right wingers" don't like dress up games.  Why not?  Why wouldn't they?  Some people have also suggested that just because someone is "right wing," that they automatically hate the LGBT community, or they're automatically racist.  You know there are a LOT of gay, trans, black, Latina, etc... "conservatives" out there, right?  Being of a certain ethnicity, or gender, or orientation doesn't mean you HAVE to vote a certain way, and anyone who says that they must... well they're the closed-minded ones.

Regarding left and right politics, in real life, very few issues are EVER right or left.  I'm tired of this idea that because you lean "right" on one issue, you automatically have to lean "right" on all others.  No.  Not at all.  No one else has the right to tell you how you should vote, or what you should believe is right about any given issue.  That's on YOU to decide for yourself, based on your own intelligence, morality, beliefs, life experiences, culture, upbringing, etc.  

I lean left on some issues, and I lean right on some issues, and tend to fall somewhere in the middle on most things.  This is why "swing voters" are so important in real life democratic nations.  They listen to all the politicians' platforms, and vote on whomever they think is going to do the best thing for them and their loved ones, their communities, etc., regardless of what political party's logo happens to be on their lapel pin.  

People who vote for someone simply because they wear a Donkey or an Elephant, Red or Blue... are they REALLY weighing their options?  Are they REALLY politically informed?  If someone votes against a politician because they made one misguided comment, or because their friend told them that politician was "evil"... are they REALLY making an informed political choice?

Anyway, that ended up being a way longer rant than I thought it would be.  Thanks for reading, if you made it all the way to the end, haha.
