Valentine's Day is a day dedicated to expressing love and affection between intimate companions. It is often associated with romantic relationships, but people also use the occasion to express gratitude and love to friends and family.

This year, love is in the air on Ximboland, and we're celebrating in style! Welcome to the Ximboland Xalentines Day Fashion Contest, where you and a chosen partner can showcase your creativity, fashion sense, and love for each other. It's time to share the love with those who matter to you most on XL <3



This contest is a little different than most, so please make sure you understand how to enter before submitting your looks.

 HOW TO PARTICIPATE 
 Reach out to another user and invite them to be your valentine! This could be any on site, be it a friend, a fellow state citizen or someone you've never spoken to before until now!
 Once you've found your perfect match, work together to compose two outfits for your upcoming date.
 (Optional) Write a description of your date plans or share a story about how the date went. It could be a romantic dinner, a night of dancing, or any other creative date idea you come up with!
 Submit your entries together and make sure to make it clear who your partner is.

Entries will be judged based on creativity, coordination, overall visual appeal of the outfits, and whether or not it is on-theme. Bonus points will be awarded for the uniqueness of your date idea and the storytelling aspect.

 RULES 
 This contest is open to all states.
 Screenshots from the shop are allowed if you are below level 15 - learn how to post a screenshot here.
 Any level player may enter.
 Do not copy another entry. Having the same idea is fine, blatant copying is not.
 Do not submit a previously created outfit.
 You may only enter once, and cannot enter with multiple partners. No hoeing around!
 You must enter with a pair and make it clear who your partner is. Consent is key!
 You may only enter this contest on your main account.
 You may not enter with an alt as your pair.
 Follow the site and forum rules.

 PRIZES 
Prizes will go to both participants
1st place - 600 Diamonds
2nd place - 400 Diamonds
3rd place - 200 Diamonds
+ Banners for every participant

you're correct, anyone level 15 and under can submit using a screenshot from the shop. cherri linked to the guide on how to do so in her post.

submissions will be posted here, in this thread!

submissions from users above level 15 must be posted by purchasing the items, saving the outfit, and using the button that looks like a towel on a hanger.

I'm also unsure if you and your partner have to post together or separately, I think either way would be fine since the rules also state you need to say who your partner is :)

ps. ik I'm not the contest host, but I'm sure cherri is busy with other things and PX duties ;)

My date with my valentine, EnthusiasticNaps, started in a Michelin 3-Star restaurant, McBimbo's. We both ordered the lobster.
Unbeknownst to us, one of the lobsters we ordered snuck out of its tank, and crawled towards our table! It pulled at our tablecloth, knocking over a candle centerpiece, which burnt Nap's outfit to a crisp!
Luckily, Naps was able to use the restaurant's tablecloth as a new dress...

Titania and Juliette find themselves in an empty park in the dead of night. They talked and talked while swinging idly, time seemingly frozen just for the two of them. Juliette admits she's grown cold and Titania wordlessly hands over her coat, letting it hang off of her shoulders, as if it was the most obvious choice in the world. Juliette blushes slightly and looks away, a small smile growing on her face.
It was then that it clicked, really, like a cog going into its place inside Titania's brain - she liked Juliette, liked her very much, more than her own thoughts could scramble themselves together to put into words, and her own eyes widened a little as she tried to deal with this information. Her heart pounded in her chest, loud enough that a small part of her brain had the decency to wonder if Juliette could even hear it, and Titania just blurted out:
"Juliette, I think I want to spend every second of the rest of my life next to you, and to no one else"
Juliette's eyes widen as she takes in the other's words. "You...mean that?"
...Oh.
Were they really so stupid to... go to a Valentine's day party... as a duo... wearing matching outfits... and still be surprised when everyone else assumed they were a couple? Apparently, they were indeed, both - a stupid couple, who did not realize either of those things.
"I do... If you feel the same, I... I think we should stop dancing around each other. I think we should make it real." Titania replies.
Juliette gently places her hand onto Titania's cheek, caressing it affectionately. "How should we do that?" She all but whispers.
With only a slight hesitation, Titania closes the gap between them and kisses her. Purple petals fall around the two as they embrace, pouring out all of their hidden emotions for the other to taste.
Titania wraps her arms around Juliette's waist, pulling her even closer, like she means to melt their hearts together into one. Under the pale moonlight, they kiss passionately like they never have before, but do it as if they've known what the other would like, automatically. A giggle bubbles up on both of their chests, breaking up the kiss as they laugh at each other for being so dense about their feelings all this time. They stare into each others eyes adoringly, interlacing their fingers together, knowing, after all this time, that they love and are loved back.

Please don't be sorry! Ascelina has answered these perfectly, and yes, it doesn't matter if you post separately or together, just as long as it's made clear who your partner is. Preferably if you are posting separately try to do so at the same time, so it is easier for me to see, like Timothee and Naps have done. Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 3 stage process from Senator>State Minister> Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo citizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo they must first become a Ximbo senator. All Ximbo senators are electable as state ministers. State Minister elections take place every 4 months also. Only state ministers are eligible to then become the Prime Ximbo.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 3 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Internet republic of Ximbolands holds elections every 4 months for Prime Ximbo and 4 months for State Minister.

Where do important discussions take place?
The Forum.

What is the treasury/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of the Internet republic of Ximbo land. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 4 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo citizens.
A percentage of the money paid by Ximbo citizens via Paypal and SMS is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is wisely used for further game development.
