Valeria (aka Vile Val if you knew her in the 90s New York club scene) met her soulmate at the age of 21. And then she lost her.

Cybele was the coolest, the prettiest, was on the advant garde of fashion and knew how to fucking party. But more than that, after she and Val were done dancing, were done getting high, were done with the after party and the after after party, they would go home to their shitty little apartment and fall back hand and hand on the bed without even removing their smeared makeup and talk and talk and talk. They just clicked, Val loved listening to Cybele and Cybele loved listening to Val, and by the time the watery morning rays were filtering through their tiny dirty window their minds were melded, their hearts were joined, and they could enter dreamland hand in hand.

And Cybele was dead, and gone and eventually just another smear on the pavement. Except the part of her, the whisper of her voice in Val's mind, the empty hole in her heart and the anguish. She couldn't forget Cybele even if she wanted to, and so she tried to find a way to see her again.
Luckily, if you set everything up just right, like doing your summoning on the anniversary of your girlfriend's death, you can actually get a ouija board to work! And Val found this out after only 5 years after Cybele's death! Technically she was very lucky! Cybele even died on Valentine's day, at least she didn't have to miss out on Valentine's day with her?


That comfort let the hole in Val's heart heal, and now even 3 decades later, she always looks forward to Valentine's day when she can see her soulmate Cybele again, reminisce, listen to their old casettes, and talk and laugh until dawn.

It was not a coincidence that they were in the same room together. It was also not the first time they had seen each other, but it was going to be the last. Amongst the hundreds of guests inside this pretentious affair, we locked eyes, eyes wide open, and had to pace ourselves, as all eyes were on her. No running towards one another, and certainly not any sort of embracing. Just a quick nod, and off we went dancing. This was the only way where we could speak without anyone being suspicious, but not for too long, as I was not supposed to be there.

We knew this was it. Never again to be allowed into each other’s lives again. As a last resort, because this was perhaps the worst way to let go of someone you loved for so long: restrained, surveyed and shattered; perhaps, out of desperation for grazing her hand just one more time, I gave her a white rose. Knowing what this meant for her and I , and knowing that this was goodbye, longing for the every second to expand into hours, I had to disappear before anyone started to notice how much time we had spent dancing, together.

All Ximbo citizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo they must first become a Ximbo senator. All Ximbo senators are electable as state ministers. State Minister elections take place every 4 months also. Only state ministers are eligible to then become the Prime Ximbo.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 3 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Internet republic of Ximbolands holds elections every 4 months for Prime Ximbo and 4 months for State Minister.

What is the treasury/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of the Internet republic of Ximbo land. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 4 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo citizens.
A percentage of the money paid by Ximbo citizens via Paypal and SMS is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is wisely used for further game development.
