On this dark and endless night, the longed-for moment has finally come. Lost in my thoughts, I remember how it all started. It was night that day too, when they entered the house. Murderers ... My father was the first, then come the turn of my mother and my sister. She was my beautiful mother, strong and courageous. She hid me in the closet so they couldn't find me. How long have I been there, I don't know, hours, days. I was almost dead when he found me ... "Papa" ...
Broken little girl, he saved me, he raised me, he taught me everything. Every secrets, every practice, every ritual. He taught me to understand, to respect, to love as well as to fear. You're probably wondering what I'm talking about, well I'm talking about magic. The magic of my world, my culture, my ancestors : Voodoo.
After my emancipation from "papa" when I was old enough to fend for myself and my practice of sacred magic was acceptable, I left to face the world. Yet something prevented me from moving forward. Anger, a hatred, which gnawed at my soul. So I went in search of the murderers of my family. years of research, many disappointments, I finally found them. They are there, sheltered in this old house, but not for long. Tonight is the big night, I will finally get revenge.
What would I do after that I don't know. Maybe I would answer this academy which is looking for teachers. an opportunity for me to show and teach that voodoo is a magic over which there is too much prejudice. Until then, I have a revenge to accomplish.

She is Cielo, a young woman who wanted to learn one of the four arts of sorcery: between fire, water, earth and air, she chose the latter. After obtaining the best grades, she became the best in her field. She not only controls the blowing of the wind, she is the protector of heaven, since in her great sword she has concentrated all that power for which she worked so hard. She is also a teacher in themes of love, poetry and healing, she acts in reconciliation with female power and self-sovereignty, especially with regard to one's own sexuality. A strong woman who achieved her goals thanks to her perseverance and solemn character.

Well, hey there! Welcome to my class, Smoke & Mirrors! I'm your instructor, Dazzle, and I'll be showin' all of y'all the most classic of illusions! Gotta have a good grasp of the basics before y'all can start inventing your own techniques, of course! This course will be focusing on stage magic, and the various tricks us magicians have been d- HEY! Let me go! You can't kick me out of my own class! What do you mean this is the wrong magic school?!
(ajfhsdjjd sorry for not following the prompt! I just thought it'd be funny for a stage magician to bumble her way into a faculty position at a school for Real Magic)
Cast out of hell for freeing the good souls she and other demons had so skilfully lured to the underworld, Nemi’s arms and legs were cut off and she was left to die a slow and miserable human death on Earth’s surface. But she was saved by angels who had seen her good deeds. They gave her new arms and legs, a set of wings and a full set of angelic powers for her to do good on earth. She brought comfort and happiness to many but she also punished and hurt many others and in so doing broke the Angels Code. And so the Angels stripped Nemi of her powers and left her to roam the Earth as a mortal.
Despite being stripped of all her demonic and angelic powers she was left with the greatest power of all - knowledge. This combined with an innate understanding of human psychology, a huge emotional intelligence, natural charm, beauty and a big broken heart make her a very dangerous character. Though she brings love and hope to the lives of many damaged souls she is also capable of great cruelty and crushes the spirit of many. And sometimes she gives hope to someone only to take it away again for reasons only known to herself; she is herself a tortured soul. But no one else inhabiting the middle world has such intimate knowledge of both heaven and hell and she is in demand the world over to share her knowledge.

Before you stands Julietta DeLaCroix, charms expert and dean of House Rapture. The School of Rapture envelops the world of Love Magic, glamours, and the magic of the arts. You scheduled a meeting with her in her office, and found her on the balcony when you arrived. Beside her is her infernal optical imp familiar, Lisanderoth -- or Lisa for short.
"I learned that the hard way," gesturing towards her left eye. "As you may know I battled in the Heresy War against hordes of crusaders attempting to wipe out our kind. Witches have always relied on espionage and secrecy to survive in the world of the mundane. Since the Burning Ages we have kept to the shadows. This is what the School of Rapture will train you in, should you so choose this House."
Several other Houses are available here. Augurium for divination, Erudito for theurgical practices of mythology. But your intuition pointed you toward Rapture.
"What is it you wish to accomplish here? The power to see the future? To change the weather? To uncover arcane knowledge? Or is it to hold dominion over the minds of others?" She turns toward you, and the scent of roses envelops your senses. "If anything you should join Covina Sophia. Based on your sense of style I believe you would fit in quite nicely." Covens at this school act like sororities or fraternities, and everybody knows of the Sophias.
"I helped found Covina Sophia when I was a student here. Back then House Rapture didn't exist. I was an herbology student in House Ocisano! Those were different times, before the war. It was the coven that helped me recover after losing my eye. Strong and proud witches we are, and I can see in your eyes that you can embody the Sophia spirit." Your face must have given away the flattery bubbling in your cheeks, as a smile grew across Dean Julietta's face.
"Maybe I'll see you in my Magical Ethics class this fall since it is required for first years. I can't make the decisions for you, but I do recommend you follow your heart. The heart is my expertise after all."
As you turn to leave her office, you hear her deep yet soft voice again behind you.

[This has been one of my favorite contests to prepare for! I based this witch on my ideal future self (although not really my fashion sense lol), as I attend a witchcraft school currently called the Raven Academy of Magical Arts. I hope to one day teach there and eventually create House Rapture and be the dean. I already am a founder of Covina Sophia, and I love my covenmates! WELCOME to Miss Evania Shine's Light class. I teach the students of the Bimbolands Magical Academy for Witches & Wizards how to harness their inner magic and transform it into light. My happy demeanour comes from the fact that light magic gives you energy and leaves you feeling good.
Once the students pick a magical staff that lets them harness their magic, creating their light magic is easy as pie, controlling it however is hard. I am a master at controlling the light and if they enter my classroom their light magic will always behave right. The classroom is outside in order for students to get in touch with nature which, will help them transform their magical ability to light.
