With all due respect, I guess, the reason that less and less players want to run for Prime Bimbo is because it has been demonstrated that players' voices don't actually matter and that the election process is merely a marketing gimmick.
If you actually looked around, you'd see that there are many players eager to help make the site better. As a shop worker, I have seen many talented artists spend countless hours creating items for the site. I can guarantee that none of them put all that effort in for a couple thousand B$ here and there. We do that work because we like the game and the people it has introduced us to.
No Prime Bimbo, State Ministers, or Senators were contacted to provide insight as to how gameplay would be affected or how players would respond to such a huge change in the election process. If you would've talked to literally ANY of us, we would've told you that it was a bad idea. And now your solution is "Boohoo, I'm President and what I say goes." instead of you and the rest of Team Bimbo humbling yourselves and responding to player complaints appropriately?
Why only issue a statement now, after the election? If you were so confident that the new system is the right one, voters should've been provided with an explanation of the system beforehand so they could vote accordingly.
This is an unbelievably bad move, and you know it. You made the choice of giving the site a so-called political system and then showed zero respect for any of the players' opinions.
There is no reason to give only one state a bonus based on the PB in charge while also saying that they represent everyone. At this point, every player should be given the bonus as a way to boost the game's economy and an apology for this grave of a mistake.
The reason the political system is failing is yours and yours alone. There are plenty of players who would be willing to step up to the plate if they believed that their opinions and ideas mattered to y'all whatsoever. But they don't. As has been demonstrated time and time again.

Has it occured to you that people now may not want to be state ministers anymore? If they are forced to be Prime Bimbo when they don't want to be. Seems like your going backwards and pushing people away from being Prime Bimbo even more and maybe pushing people away from being state ministers too.

While I agree that voter turnout and number of running candidates could be increased, I disagree that removing the right to a democratically-elected Prime Bimbo will fix this issue. The lack of participation is due to this government really being an oligarchy: power lies in the hands of the people who can afford to buy it, as evidenced by the requirement that we "get rich" in order to run for office. If we eliminate the subscription requirement, participation as a whole will increase.
Seriously. Wtf? This is not okay. I am furious. Way more than l should be about a browser game. I am sick and tired of all these bad decisions and lack of communication.

The previous system had its flaws and recently it did not generate the level of support and backing of the wider Bimbo public. Election turnout was low and the number of Bimbos putting themselves forward for the most prestigious role in the world has declined election on election.Sup.

Omg what even is this?? I've seen too many other sites I loved go to hell to let it happen to BL. Did y'all even listen to us?? This is exactly what we didn't want. A (slightly) broken system can't be fixed by replacing it with one that functions even worse. Maybe if you actually took the time to ask for suggestions from us a better idea could have been put forth, but this is ridiculous. Placing all voting power in the hands of one state is not how a democracy works :(

The elections don't work for a number of reasons.
- No one looks forward to them and they happen on random days and you're forced to vote
- If someone does show up for the elections few people know who the person running is
- You have to pay to be prime bimbo or a senator
Also, don't know if it was fixed but inactive players are generally nominated for Prime Bimbo
Instead it would be nicer to engage to voter and educate them as who the candidate is, what they stand for, etc. Even on voting day maybe have access to a link or preview to each bimbo's page that is running that has their campaign promises written on it BEFORE they vote, and aren't forced to vote without leaving the page.
Or we could do it your way and have the dictator decide what everyone should do....
