Wanted to add smthn real quick (sorry if its a lot ;0;) 
i did a lot of work today and i am proud of myself! Part of it might’ve been the monster energy i drank earlier LOL... but i did some schoolwork, planned my classes for next semester, cleaned out 90% of my closet, (which is pretty time consuming so im proud), and painted my nails! Feels good to actually be able to do stuff

I have an appointment to see a counseling intern on Monday...even though I don't really want to go. I have no energy or motivation right now.

I have been on the waiting list for counseling for probably 8 months at this location (& longer at other counseling centers). They called me to say they finally had an availability.

hello! a player (specifically MistyB1tch) asked me how i managed to overcome my paranoia and i didn't want to spam the original thread so i'll be writing about it here! hopefully other players find it somewhat useful?

i wanted to start off by saying i definitely still suffer from constant paranoia/delusions/hallucinations, but i have found some ways to cope with it during quarantine. this might not be for everyone but it did help me out!
i don't have many hobbies, however the few i do have kept me busy enough to not have to deal with my dummy mind. i like to make bead jewelry in particular and i find it very nice to distract myself with this activity while listening to music. focusing on an activity like this lowers my chances of seeing stuff/hearing stuff that isn't there!
additionally: this isn't ideal, but distractions have become a dear friend of mine. i've learned that my life is a constant race between me and my brain, which i have learned to see as a separate entity to deal with this... so basically i will literally do anything, ANYTHING to not let my brain get the chance to do stuff. i've literally researched a video game i've never played for hours just to make sure i had something to focus on because i kept hearing sounds that weren't really there:/
support is always helpful as well. even just one friend being there, talking to you over text or phone is enough... my boyfriend has been there for me when literally no one else cared or listened to me when i told them i was experiencing hallucinations and stuff. he understood, and even through text, he managed to tell me i'll be okay and distract me enough to stop it from happening.

obviously i'm no expert and these may not be the greatest ideas, but they might be of some use? i'm still trying my best to research my own symptoms and try to work towards a future where i can get help. sometimes having hope is really the only thing that keeps me going, so always remember that you are not alone and you WILL get help someday because you are strong and you can overcome it!

And yea, it's ok. 
I've tried having music constantly playing while i sleep and that does help a bit as it stops me from waking up every hour thinking theres someone standing over me lol.
I think I just need to get anti-anxiety meds or sleep meds. I have largatic which are anti-psychotics used for depression, mania, schizophrenia, etc. I've found it helps but I can't get them from my GP, so I'm very frugile with using them lol. Plus considering I live in a rural town and the only way I got them was through a 20min $500 session

Thank you so much for the post, I wish I was artistic like you, that would be so cool to make and wear your own jewellery. 
Distractions are horrible but amazing, I think that might be why I watch all the crime stuff as a distraction, it'd make sense. 
Aweeee, I wish my partner was as understanding. you are so lucky to have such a supportive partner, thats so sweet. 
Yea, it's difficult especially with the financial situations going on currently. I'm not too sure where you are or how expensive treatment is for you but omg. Therapy or even counselling sessions or medication appointments are so expensive here. My partner works but I dropped out of work and uni, rip my dumbass. 
And its anywhere from $300 - $600+ for a session. And it's difficult because medicare only gives back $50 or so bucks. So I haven't been able to get the help I need or even the medication. 
It's probably so much worse in america considered how much they've been effected from COVID and their health care system currently. So i shouldn't complain
