We talked already about it. What we want to do is to firstly inform players regarding 1b$ price changes and give a window of two weeks before actually change the prices. For that we will need help from FGs or PB to make a pop-up announcement so that everyone become aware of upcoming changes. To make it clear, it refers only to 1b$ items made and added during the protest.

Most of designers are actually indifferent about pricing their items higher and changing prices for 1b$ items. Moreover, some of them actually prefer to have their items priced more toward the lower end. As you already know designers don't get any percentage per sold item so for most of them it doesn't make much difference if their items are priced high or low.

Why we delayed with announcement about changing 1b$ prices? - Because there are a lot of items for adding everyday, plus requests, not all of us are active that much lately, it's too much for only one or two shop workers to do everything. Maybe you don't know how many new items were added recently because there were not announcements and screenshots and some of these new items were added to himbo shop so clearly you can't see them. Between fixing 1b$ prices and doing other shop things, we chose to do the second one at the moment.

Also I am not payed for doing all of that, even less regularly. I don't even have enough time to send reports about designers' or my work so we can be gifted, nor enough time to post regularly shop updates. So please, name shop workers who are paid fairly regularly and who don't do their job!

This way you just put a blame to all of us without having a single clue on who does what and how much any of us do.

Since you assume you know everything, please suggest to currently active shop worker/s where to put their focus at the moment:
1. hairstyle colors

2. re-pricing protest items

3. adding new items for bimbos and himbos

4. adding refitted items in himbo shop

5. doing recolor request

6. tagging items

7. (...) something else

If you have a bad day or just feel bored please find something else to distract you instead of bitching on me who do most of shop work lately and shop workers who at the moment have valid reasons to be less active than usually.

I said some, not all. In fact I didn't want to name anyone but now you said:

Xtina, Railophone and I believe Pixieee all regularly send (or did so in the past, as you're well aware I am no longer in the loop regarding that) Kimsim invoices for the things they did. Again, I said "some of you are paid fairly regularly" based on what I know. I never said you don't do your jobs. I asked you to do your job in reference to repricing the protest items, but that doesn't mean you're not doing your job in general.

Not having a single clue about this is not my fault and you know it. You guys are not transparent about what you do or don't do. As you said yourself:

I get that you don't have time to post about the shop updates, but at the moment we see a new item show up in the shops with no notice and unless you literally comb the entire shops daily you can't know about anything new that was added or done. Communicating what you did in the shops is just as important if not more than doing things in the shops.

I assume no such thing. You assume I do. I am not a shop worker, it's not my job to do anything for the shops, coordinate what gets done in the shop or tell you what your next priority should be. That is up to you as a collective to figure out. You volunteered for this job. I'm merely making a request, something this thread was started for and something I do highly infrequently precisely because I know you guys are busy with real life obligations. Having said that...

I will say what I said a long time ago when Neriah had to take a break from the game after getting caught up with real life. It's okay to focus on actually important things (this game is not one of them, let's be honest). But the responsible thing to do then is to step down from your responsibilities and let other people, who are willing, active, care for the game and want to improve it to the best of their ability (I do not count myself among those, I have never had nor ever will have any interest in being a shop worker) step up to the task in your stead.
I say "you" in a general way, I am not referring to you specifically LillyAnn, I am well aware you're often (one of) the only active shop worker.

I genuinely want to add to this to say we very much involve our designers in the pricing of their items, and many of the designers I've worked with prefer their items priced lower for greater accessibility. I have been told there is greater satisfaction in the popularity and usage of items rather than price point. Not everyone is like this, but I want to respect the opinions of designers. We as shop workers want to respect the suggestions of designers, especially regarding the item's price point, because we highly value the designers who regularly make items for the community. And yes, it definitely matters less because designers don't get a percentage profit of sales. Who benefits from this? The site owner. And what happened? We got a written response to our protests and seemingly little action, so forgive me if I say I feel like this hasn't resolved.

If you were a designer that was personally affected by the 1B$ protest and want your prices changed immediately, please let me know and I will do so this weekend. Even though I have real life priorities that I am placing above BL at the moment, I will take the time to do this out of respect for you and your time. This is a statement to all designers, not to just Alex. Otherwise, we will let you know when we are able to implement the price change, and we appreciate your patience.

Edit: I have not sent a request to kimsim in quite some time because of my real life issues. And I do not intend to send a request until I am more regularly active. Xtina has also not sent payment requests lately either, and neither has Pixieee, as far as I'm concerned. Please don't make generalizations about our payment.

Just to clarify some things about myself since I was named in whatever all this has been:

As Rail clarified, I am not "paid fairly regularly". I send Kimsim updates about my work and he chooses what kinds of compensation I get. The only exception to that was during the mass senatorship cancellation when I asked for senatorship specifically instead of anything else until the strike was over.

I'm also paid retroactively, meaning that I get paid once work is done. Never before it. Team Bimbo and I have no contracted agreement that says I'm obligated to produce new works, etc. within any specific timeframe. And in fact, Kimsim always responds to my updates in a manner that implies it was more than he expected.

If you look at my profile you'll see that my Senatorship from during the cancellation ran out. I've actually done new work since my last message to Kimsim as well, so I truly owe them nothing at this point. I do apologize for not keeping up with shop-keeping duties. I take what I do very seriously, but sometimes I do fail myself.

And since my position as a shopworker and designer has been personally called into question, I feel obligated to uncomfortably share insight into my personal life right now to defend myself:

I was recently laid off from my job due to COVID-19, my boyfriend that I'm not allowed to see (and haven't seen in over 2 month bc we're long-distance) may have it, and I suffer from a mental illness that has been greatly aggravated from not leaving my house for 23 days. Everyday I'm here with parents I barely get along with, and the death of my dog back in January means I have little to no sense of comfort in my own home. I often can't fall asleep until like 4am and my schedule and moods are very erratic.

So pardon me for not forcing myself to sit and work on items for a dress-up game that I don't play as often as I used to unless I'm particularly inclined to at the moment. I take my position as a shopkeeper and a designer seriously because I like the game and many of my fellow players, but I'm a human being with an obligation to my own well-being first and foremost. Especially right now.

I will be doing work here again in the future, but I cannot guarantee any specific timeframe or volume of work at this exact moment. If anyone believes that I need to permanently step down and leave many projects unfinished as a result of my decision to take a break, they are welcome to contact myself and/or Kimsim about it. Thanks.
