Who watches the Bimboland Court?
Wowsers... yes I follow - big thanks for starting this topic. I was a senator and voted but then decided not to continue due to the unfairness I see so it’s nice to be able to comment again. Normally I have very little regard for what Heavenly Bimbo says however I do believe she has some very good points. There are just some players you cannot win against and no matter how you dress or what your debate says the same ‘voters’ vote against you constantly. It does happen way to much to be a coincidence. Sandi is gracious and correct this is a game - but I also feel as individuals and game players we deserve the ability to join and play without cheaters ruining the spirit and ones drive to get to the top by hard work - which it seems is not possible. Neridah totally in love with your comment :) brilliant! I play less now because of this ‘court’ stuff to be honest - as from where I sit nothing substantial was done. They still fight and vote for each other... I will never vote for someone who has been shown to cheat. ‘Skip’ is always my preferred option.

@LadyLythis: I feel the same way, and yes, I refuse to vote for them, it just leaves a really bitter taste in my mouth.
@Sandi: You've made some very good points in your post, and I'm glad that you have pointed these things out because it makes people think more, myself included. If the court is going to work out in the long term and become something that we repeatedly fall back on as a form of "justice", it needs to get its shit together. As for the guilt or innocence of the accused, I find myself agreeing, yet it doesn't change my personal opinion, which may sound weird. I guess for me the evidence is pretty telling, as well as the behavior of those that stand accused. Also, generally it seems that those that are being accused should be able to present proof of their innocence, and yet so far, they have not presented anything, they just fall back to blaming a so-called "friend". For me, that is more telling behavior, and not something friends do to each other.
@Iulja: I'm sad to agree, but I am still agreeing with everything you said. As long as we have people in charge that don't play the game and can't understand those that do, we just won't get anywhere at all.
@HLB: Honestly, I don't typically like your posts(our opinions differ quite a bit on many subjects, but that's to be expected in politics) but you pointed out several things that I would like to be honest about, because at this point I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way. The fights/debates are flat-out BROKEN. They're stale and they're boring, and it sucks because I used to enjoy the fashion duels SO MUCH on the old site. But at this point, I vote for the person with the most votes already just to get them out of the way so we don't get a backlog of debates(100 or more pages is RIDICULOUS). I just don't even care anymore because I've already read through the debate answers, and many times I've already seen and voted for the same outfits sooooo many times. We don't have enough outfit slots to really be able to proactively put our creativity to good use, and we're confined by having stupid fight "categories". As I have put forth before, debates need to be transformed into more fashion duels, and fight categories either need to be greatly expanded or just done away with in favor of a much larger amount of slots. In order to de-clutter the user interface, the slots would need to be replaced with a simple drop down menu, and perhaps bimbo's could put a "star" next to their top 6 favorite outfits that could show up on their public profile.

@Chum: you've been subjected to waaaaay too many angry rants, so you know how I feel about this as well.
@Anoushka: Thanks for the comment, I definitely agree! I've put a lot of hard work into my ranks, so when I see someone who cheats to get higher than almost everyone else get off with a mere slap on the wrist, it boils my blood! It spits in the face of the honest players, and it sends a bad message to any new players who may join.

I am not the most articulate, i apologize in advance....
I do follow the topic. I feel like I'm not as an involved player as others, also I'm a low level bimbo which I feel makes my opinion matter less? Plus, with real life I tend to not prioritize playing the game therefore I feel like I am not as involved as I could be.
I think its unfair that the Athens group is still around doing the same things. I don't think it's fair because I feel like someone like me doesn't even stand a chance, much less knowing that there are people cheating to get ahead. Also I do think its one person with multiple accounts.
I remember in the old site we had so many more categories for outfits, like we could save the outfits and name them ourselves.
And like Cum_Dumpster said it doesn't even make me want to try! So I too only vote in debates/fights when I have to for daily tasks and then I choose the bimbo with the most votes whether i agree with them or not.
This game is fun, and it could be so much more than it is right now. I'm so happy its back. But also it sucks.

Ariro, your post made sense to me, and I thank you for your input :) I completely understand where you're coming from, this is why I keep fighting, because I don't want other users to feel like they don't have a chance when the easiest way to get ahead and stay ahead is to cheat. That's another reason why I like the new duels feature, you don't have to win a popularity contest to get in the top 10, or cheat, you just have to be constant, and sometimes forego sleep. Hey, it ain't perfect, but hopefully in the coming months Sachem and Kim will continue to work out the bugs and improve the feature.
Also on topic of the court, I cross-posted this in the official court thread too, but did anyone else receive this notification?
I guess someone's just upset because I refuse to vote for her and her multi accounts...

I don't understand the problem of multiple accounts in the first place. If anyone was allowed to have as many accounts as they wished, everyone could do the same thing. I think it is less fun to play only with myself and my minions, but the heck, why not? Some people pay money to get ahead. Others spend more time. Others again don't care about leaderboards. If it is your style to have multiple accounts and put in all this more time and effort (in "her" case even money on top!) then well feel free and do so. The only problem is, that on this game it is not allowed and still some do it. It is just unfair of those who do not play in the rules against those who do. And that is where all the shitstorm starts. And yes I still think it is just one person and no it still is not personal for me and no I still don't want to vote in the fights. And ;) no, until now I have not been blocked.
Annnnd amazonaki and Angelina diamond 2 are back and challenging up fights against each other- again - or is that still..?!? Pisses me off... or am I just being petty when I pick ANYONE but them to vote for and ‘skip’ when they are against each other?!?

I don't think it's petty at all. Since the devs won't do anything, users have basically come up with their own ways to punish the cheaters, by voting against them whenever they can, and skipping fights/debates where they challenge each other. I've been doing it too, and I know I'm not the only one. Though I'm pretty sure it's what got me blocked, which IMO is actually such a petty response.

It is the only way you can have a voice in this yourself. But as always: There is a few people reading this, following this, but a huge big mass of people who don't and just click anywhere. That's what got certain people in real life politics elected. The mass just don't care and the other people are to few to make a huge impact. Still I think making this small impact is the best we can do, so I do the same reagarding voting.
