I was considering forever holding my tongue on this one, but with (at least) one account deleted and who knows how many people more put off by the entire stupid mess, calling it like it is probably is the better idea. The court system serves absolutely no legitimate purpose when the actual sentence is completely arbitrary, which looking at the current the previous case, it clearly is. If there were any meaningful rules that senators actually are aware of, there would be no doubt whatsoever emma1999 won't receive a harsher sentence than Angelina Diamond2, and total doubt regarding that was clearly a key reason this got so messy. Please don't bring Chris into this, he doesn't give a shit.
As such, I would recommend the Prime Bimbo, State Ministers and Senators demand a vote on whether the court in its current form should remain in operation, whether it shall be modified to have clearer rules, or whether it shall be abolished. Surely SweetasNuts, whoever that actually is - hey, I'm just a newbie that can do a bit of research! -, should flip his wig if the Internet Republic of Bimboland proved to be a silly for-profit website dictatorship where such a demand is not met.

Surely SweetasNuts, whoever that actually is - hey, I'm just a newbie that can do a bit of research! -, should flip his wig if the Internet Republic of Bimboland proved to be a silly for-profit website dictatorship where such a demand is not met.The "meaningful rule" you mention is this: Maintaining multiple accounts is against the site rules. Most senators know this, and it's been repeated everywhere on the forum, as well as in the rules users should have read upon joining(I know many don't, but as we've seen, it comes back to bite them in the ass, so it's their own fault). The main problem seems to be that even though the rules plainly state one thing, a set punishment for the rule being broken was never established, which means that as has been stated before, the severity is arbitrary, as well as seemingly even upholding this rule(Athens trial, AD2's accounts still exist, none have been deleted). To me, this almost implied that the original goal of the vagueness as well as the court design was to have the senators decide what punishment to hand down to the guilty users post-trial. The only issue with this is that not only are senators not voting on a punishment, only on a guilty vs. innocent verdict, they have no power to hand down a punishment. On top of this, even with senators and users alike clamoring for a severe punishment(Athens trial again), if the only people that can actually accomplish the punishment don't care enough to hand it down, the court becomes an exercise in futility. As Favea said, the court system needs to be stripped down and revamped. Furthermore, I think the acting PB should be given the ability to hand down the punishment for those found guilty, since Kim and Sachem have different priorities.
