lilyann, everyone in this thread is very aware that the prime bimbo's cabinet doesn't have power to moderate outfits. we're arguing that rules should be made and that is a power that team bimbo should add. not that rules that aren't even real (yet) be enforced.
edit: people are bringing up the PBFC because that is a legitimate part of the site that involves outfits and is moderated

I don't believe there is anything I find offensive *personally*, BUT it would be nice to have more options for darker skinned dolls. There are limited full, ethnic lips, let alone full lips with color tones that can be visible on darker Bimbos. It sometimes feels like there are very slim options for dark skin. More variety would be my 2 cents!

Hi Im gonna go off strike soon so I’ll make lips/makeup for darker skin tones. Just dm me if there’s any other makeup stuff you wanted.

Now, question for all. Do you all understand that we don't have permission to police outfits? Like it or not, that's the fact.
Agree with what pierrot said for this first point. People are simply speaking up about an issue that's affecting them and suggesting changes, not attacking moderators for not having this power.

LillyAnn wrote:
Your safety and mental health protection is mostly and firstly your own responsibility. If 16+ game is too much to handle maybe moving to 13+ would solve that problem. Since all of you who claim this game and its environment aren't safe for you are still here, and some of you have been playing for more than a year already, it only speaks in favor that this game is perfectly safe for you.
I think people understand that they are responsible for their own safety and mental health, but are speaking up about this because they enjoy a lot of other aspects of Bimboland and want to make it a better and more comfortable place for everyone. Although I would understand if it's not possible to make the changes being proposed from a practical standpoint, what's wrong with users raising them as issues, especially if Bimboland values freedom of expression and lack of censorship so much?

I also don't think someone continuing to use the site means that they feel "perfectly safe". People can enjoy some aspects of the site (outfits, debates, fights, duels) while feeling extremely uncomfortable from others (as discussed in this thread), and the way that the site is designed means that these other areas are near impossible to avoid. I also don't think 16+ is synonymous with being unable to avoid seeing this aforementioned triggering content. Thanks.

there is really no need to patronize people who are bringing up concerns and as the "minister of justice" you really should know better
Pointing to facts isn't patronizing anyone. Clearly, there are a lot of double standards and misconceptions here disguised in 'concerns'. When you learn better, tell me to do so.

do you think being condescending and insulting completely unprompted is at all productive or helpful? or does belittling other people just make you feel good?
Does belittling, insulting, calling out, ganging against other people make YOU feel good? And I don't mean you specifically here Juggalo, but a couple of you. Ask that question firstly yourself and your friends before asking someone else.
I don't belittle anyone nor it makes me feel good. If you feel that way for being pointed facts, it has to do with you, not with me. It either doesn't make me feel good seeing a bunch of you ganging up against single players, scrutinizing and bully them. Even when they explain themselves it means nothing you, it just gives you more fuel to continue acting like bullies while pretending being victims.

As the one who has been identified as being responsible for being “a bit of a catalyst” for this conversation, and because I feel that I have been poorly represented and judged by people, I would like to add my thoughts. Firstly I acknowledge that while people have kindly not identified me directly it is hard not to take many of the criticisms personally because they are associated with reference to my recent PBFC nomination.

Bimboland will never be a nirvana. Some people like to avoid facing issues at all costs for a whole range of reasons, while others openly engage with them in the hope that it will destigmatise them and break down stereotypes and lead to positive change. There is a spectrum I suppose and we all sit on it somewhere and where we sit may vary from issue to issue. So I think it is impossible to expect there to be a ‘line’ that can be drawn and enforced that could identify what looks are and are not allowed (either generally or for contests) and will make everybody happy. But while you may argue where that line should be you should be careful about making judgements of people because really, unless you know the person really well, you know nothing of their situation and motivations.

My profile says nothing about me. Unless you interact with me you won’t know much about me. What you (assume to) know of me will for the most part be based on what you make of my looks and the same can be said about most of us. We should not assume too much of another person based on what we see of their looks not knowing anything of their perspective of the world. Our attitudes, experiences and opinions differ and we should embrace and celebrate that, not denigrate and question wtf is wrong with those of others that differ to the norm (unless of course they are truly harmful or need help). Our judgements say a lot more about us than they do about the person we are judging.

I am generally supportive of people who create and show emotional looks (providing others aren’t significantly traumatised by them). Many here have identified that looks portraying domestic violence (for example) may be distressing to some people. I agree. I have looks that include elements of domestic violence. Some of them are about domestic violence, while in others the domestic violence is symbolic of other issues. They are very personal, were very emotional for me to create but also very therapeutic, and I understand that some others might also feel emotional when looking at them. I have experienced domestic violence and suffer from my own mental health issues (I don’t offer you this because I want sympathy but because it’s important for context). I find the process of creating looks helps me express my emotions and understand how I am feeling in a way that other methods of communication do not. We should not be afraid of our emotions, we are emotional beings and it’s healthy to connect and communicate with one another. I do appreciate that a minority of people are deeply impacted and even crippled by their emotions (I have a history of that). I have been emotionally affected and brought to tears by looks from quite a few others but I feel that is my concern and I manage that. I have been contacted by a few people who have said that some of my looks are confronting, which concerned me and I wondered whether I should remove them, but when asked if my looks upset by them they said no (so my looks remain). We need to care for one another but we need to care for ourselves and if we are unduly upset by something then we should remove ourselves from that situation and / or ask for that thing to be removed. And in the case of a look that causes distress then we should consider kindly talking to the person whose look it is if we feel that strongly about it.

This is just a great example of why we should have a spoiler outfit option on bimboland! Fashion can be a great way to express ourselves and having the option to spoiler outfits so people don’t just stumble onto them or have to see them if they don’t want to.

it's more of your tone than anything. the way you set up your reply comes off very aggressive and as if you don't want to listen to us.

I kind of figured this would be useless, I don't know why I had any amount of hope about anything changing. This spoiler-outfit idea, LGBT secretaries to protect us, changing the site to 18+, etc... Just a graveyard of ideas that literally are not that hard to input but some people in power refuse to just cooperate whatsoever with the community. So many of us are literally just suggesting ideas only for it to be seen as "ganging up" and "troublemaking." Must I remind you how offensive it is to call us a group of "troublemakers" when YOU'RE the majority? Is asking for something as small as a spoiler-feature really that bad? These are hypothetical questions, don't bother answering. I'm just going to watch the thread now instead of adding more ideas. I really am tired of how some of you keep treating this particular part of the community as evil people. To those of you who want to continue the discussion--thank you for representing me and my thoughts. I appreciate you deeply, I hope you know that.

19, she/he pronouns ONLY. Barely on the site anymore so don’t bother. Please don’t interact with me if we aren’t friends, it makes me incredibly uncomfortable and anxious.

it's the way you reply that makes it seem that's how you view us. that the people in this thread are a nuisance because we're asking all parts of the bl government to hear us out and tbh any ideas we have should be directed towards toki because Toki is the prime bimbo and has a direct line to chris. so it's really weird that you came out very hostile, nobody is targeting you or saying that you directly should be doing anything. we're just voicing our opinions, as you do in a democracy.

Why should player suggestions for site improvement have to come with an ultimatum?
