[Roleplaying] The Founders Inn Pub & Grill
I had the most delightful adventure today.
I went shopping.
These sort of adventures for me are NEVER COMMON, so I thought I would share a little slice of my life, with everyone in the PUB. Gossip was what made it so amusing to me in Real Life.
So I was feeling a bit 'pissy' this morning, and I needed an attitude change. What better way than to go shopping. First thing I did, was to go tanning. Uneventful and private, but something about it makes me SOOOOOOO Nasty I always have a kit with the most perfect body butter on hand to protect my skin afterwards.
Off to the hair salon I go. Oh Hell, A young lady, that is a member of my church, get's my name. I've seen her before, only because I saw her grow up from when she was a baby. Beauty salons, and conversations, Oh Hell, I told her EVERYTHING. What a lovely young woman, and I tipped her more than she would have earned all day. Physio- Therapy? Perhaps, but it is fun to understand the mind of women and she didn't even realize I was questioning her belief system. Indeed, what a healthy and emotionally sound young woman. I needed to hear that.
Her skills at French-braiding sucked, but I totally intimidated her, being somewhat of a princess in her eyes, so I can accept her timid response to hurting me. It is funny when the child you once taught, suddenly is in control of your hair. Mine is a bit longer than hers, and she had been growing her's since she was a baby. She understood, the value I place upon my hair and I will not fault her for that.
So off to the Mall I go, with a totally new attitude. Sexy, and I know it !!!
That's when things in my life become absurd!
I no sooner walk in the doors, and all eyes were upon me. Male ,female, young,old, it didn't matter. I smiled and walked to the closest shop to escape. Oh my God that store had garbage for sale. I couldn't deal with looking at what I would call 'Fussy clothes'.
"Give me short skirts or give me death"
I exited it, after a polite amount of time, only to be run over by 2 little girls riding on a mobile Hippo. It is a new trend here. A stuffed animal like a handicapped cart. " Why meeeeee ? " I was appalled by children driving in a shopping mall no less. I regained my dignity, and finally found the store I REALLY wanted to shop at.......
I had already looked at the store online and knew exactly what I wanted. It was to high to reach, though. In my current skirt at the moment, I tried though. Panties and all on display, aisle 1. Quickly a boy with a hook arrives. He pulls down the dress for me, just as the manager arrived. Relieved, she takes over and directs me to the changing room. With little to remove, I was done in 60 seconds. A perfect fit. So perfect, I left the dress on. I walk to the cashier, and handed her my old clothes and debt card and said, " I wish to wear this dress NOW. " Stunned, the cashier told me that she had to remove the security device. I hopped onto the counter and tipped my hips, and laughter ensued. I had matching panties already on. The gossip flowed then as fast as a wild fire. shop keepers were outside waiting for my visit. Yet that was all I bought.
The Smokers outside got the best show of all, as I was leaving. Seriously a gust of wind blew up my dress, in such a way that I was exposed in a very Marilin Monroe style. It was perfect.... And I was Cheered, all the way to my car.
This is a totally true story, that just happened a few hours ago. I love being ME. Swearing on a Bible the total truth.

Oh wow what a fun filled exciting day. All I did was go to school and suck at exams and come back home to more books and studying for another exam tomorrow. It sucks but pfft just to do it. And you know what happened in the morning? Mother nature :| code red sigh so much pain but oh well.

A stiff wind blows from the south west 21 kts. Bringing with it a short lived blizzard. The sun came out, but it is still to cold to even want to go outside.
It seems silly to my body because I got a little burned at the tanning salon yesterday, so every inch of my body hurts, and feels so hot. Even though I'm shivering cold. It is such a bizarre feeling.
Even sitting in a chair hurts right now. I am used to tanning beds, but I got the one that seemed extra hot, I guess. I'll be golden in a day or too, but I feel like the boiled Lobster Bisque, right now.

I like to write them, but My style is not very good because it is often very vague and full of metaphoric rants, and similes. I read a lot of Mark Twain, while I was growing up, and adopted his style, with my own twist on it. I actually grew up in a city right next to where he was a reporter for the Virginia City Territorial Enterprise. I would visit that city at least once a week during the summer, because it was a living Ghost Town of the old west. A totally fascinating place to go, complete with old board walks, and 'boot hill cemetery' yet very modern with motorcycles tightly pack all along the road through town. It was quite the tourist trap for bikers because of the road you had to drive to get there, and the old fashioned bars. Oh dear, do I have some fun stories about being a teenager, skipping school.
Very fun for a teenager to visit and play, especially as a local with a knowledge of the history of the old mining town. On three occasions, my friends and I all saw Ghosts, in the cemetery and in the school house that eventually became the Hospital. What a creepy experience that was !!!!

Woah your childhood mussta been hell of fun. I just climbed trees, went to river bashes...beach bashes..yea..the island life haha licks more ice cream..
I think what was fun was just having the opportunity to live in unique areas. Also My father enjoyed travel to anywhere that was picturesque, as that was his hobby, and my mother and I were his models. I was a world wide traveler by the age of 10. It's not as exciting as it sounds though. It was very stressful, because I could only have fun, if the weather was bad. The lighting was not perfect, or the time of day was all wrong. Or there was to many tourists. My father was a nightmare, to my childhood. Imagin a child, who was always on call for a photo-shoot. Yikes, I cringe still to this day with the memories.
On the bright side; I was always dressed very well and dolled up, and that was sort of fun to spend so much time with my mother.
We always lived in exciting places though and so when I got married I picked one of my favorite places as far away from people as possible, to settle down.
I don't feel the need to travel anymore, and despise cameras. Been there, done that, and now I just like to plant flowers. I guess I like the simple life now.
I have a total fear of Cell Phones in my home even, and if I see a guest pointing one in my direction, I will run away, or smash it. Weird?
No, just bitchy about my personal space.
Here is a million dollar idea for an inventor: Make a cell phone condom, that covers up the lens and make it obvious that no photos will be taken. It would save me a lot of money on replacement costs. :/
I'm not anti-social, just anti cell-phone camera.
On the bright side; I was always dressed very well and dolled up, and that was sort of fun to spend so much time with my mother.

Aww I used to be scarednof cameras around 4-5 years old. Im not very photogenic but i like pictures from time to time. I guess it's how i was brought up.
