I have some hours to chill out before going back to school.
I thought it was a great idea to step into the Pub for the first time. Seems like a nice place, with nice people and nice conversations!

I had some memories from my own childhood while reading about photos and cameras. My parents and I used to travel a lot too. And they took really a lot of photos of me. Stand up, turn to your right. Now a little bit more. Look up, look down. Go next to the tree. Aaaaargh!!
I always say there are enough pics to make a stop-motion film of my life LOL. I guess they've spent much money in rolls and developing them. Of course, digital cameras didn't exist!
It's getting cold here, Autumn has arrived. And coats arrived with it.
May I have a cup of tea? I don't feel like eating ice-cream!

I know what Supergirl means about the photos. My life is captured in a frame by frame movie of sorts. It is sort of crazy what my father is doing now with the new technology. He is taking the slides and having them put on DVD's.
A single day's photo shoot could be up to several hundreds of still photos, for just a single one he liked. This was in a day when 35mm film was actually made with silver. He spent a fortune on film and developing, that costs nothing in today's terms of photography.
He has gone a bit mad now in his old age, and as Christmas gifts he places a year, on an external hard-drive and sends them to me. Letting it run in auto-play is awesomely spooky. When you can remember exactly what you were thinking at that exact moment in time. I can even remember how I wanted to cry, during some of the pictures, or escape, or just faked a smile to get it over with. If movies are supposed to draw emotions out of the viewer, photos have the same effect on me.
( the story of an 8 year-old runaway in Germany was hilarious. I needed to pee, that badly. )
