The school system has really failed. People just do a thumbs up or thumbs down and have absolutely zero to say. I remember the forums in the early 2000's it was like the wild west in there with everyone being able to make an argument and at the same time flame someone. Those funny peoples whom understood that Ximboland is a funny and interesting political parody of a bimbo world and as such were already in the spirit of things and got frustrated at governments whom seemed to be acting incongruously with what Ximboland is and should be at its core eg light hearted adult entertainment.Our political system has not been bringing out the best in our community.Everyone whom has already signed up here and is reading this must have in them some humour. Its impossible to sign up to a 'bimbo world' if one doesnt already have a good sense of humour.The problem is that I have allowed that humour to be driven underground and not celebrated because we did not reward the entertainers. We rewarded moderators. A political system that rewards moderators is always going to struggle to be entertaining right?So I would like to welcome in a new era hopefully.
An era where we reward creators and entertainers. An era where we reward fun and humour. I would class Ximboland as 'adult comedy' along with and similar in style to South Park, the Simpsons, the book of Mormon or Spitting Image etc
We are a political parody of a bimbo world.I am aware that there is an argument that entertaining is also our job and I shouldn't put that on you either or share that with you as Prime Bimbo/government? What do you think about that?Is it a good premise that we have a democratically elected leader whose shares the responsibility for fun and entertainment?Or is that also likely to be viewed in hindsight as an idea that cant work long term also?
And eventually that will also have to be bought in house much like moderation has been now?
