1-7. I will overhaul the ‘forum’ including renaming it the ‘Town square’, removing dead sections and remove the red ‘down votes’ thus encouraging people to speak out and be positive.

Leave the red down vote option in.
The up/down votes are mini surveys.
Even if abused by two (or one) players the rest of the up or down votes indicate sentiment on an issue.
Remember this too...one down vote often equals 9 silent up votes.

I agree with Katie regarding keeping the likes/dislikes. As this isn't like reddit whereby the the number of upvotes feeds into visibility, there's not really anything to lose with keeping them in. Nobody gets silenced or anything. I like 'em.

5. I will encourage and call for increased personal strength and robustness amongst all Bimbos. For too long Ximbos have believed that the way to deal with people that are socially annoying is to exile or execute them. No longer will that be the case. I call for Bimbos to galvanise their inner steel recognise that we must put up with and tolerate Ximbos even if we dislike them

Interesting point....SweetasNuts could Ban every single Account in Ximbolands if he so desired a total RESET
He doesn't even want to use the nuclear option, but some Thembo's seem to be cockroaches.
Please don't make him find new ways to RESET the ENTIRE GAME.
EVERYONE loses..... ( if he does THAT) He can recover his account... Everyone else will have to start over.
        Think about it............................
How much do you support the Criminal's in our nation? People think that exposing criminals who hack duels means they aren't criminals themselves...

People are always talking...but what happens when the talk isn't cheap? And it is what it is?...
Well... what I mean by this is....Miss Bimbo, man...I wouldn't wanna be in her shoes after this...

Oh, I forgot! Thought I'd post this personal example. This is from late November, coincidentally right before SM elections. "Why did you change my profile?" No information was shared about the potential punishment for this utterly ridiculous and truly foolish interpretation of that rule. I have to echo KatieBoutique on her point from the last thread about untrained moderators. I also think this is an important piece of evidence to bring up regarding what is or is not allowed by FP as well as some of the reasons FP may have for leaving Susan's post up. This thread has been taken wildly off topic by both users and moderators alike so I see zero harm in posting these, especially as they directly relate to my concerns about abuses of power and why these are important systemic issues to fix outside of PB elections as a base way for the site to function.

This is not me pushing my political views, quite the opposite—the site is inherently political and everyone should be allowed to state their political opinions as long as they not illegal or discriminatory. And no, what I had on my profile was not discriminatory, it's a subjective political issue and I did not insult anyone, and you can't slander a country, and I'm from one of the countries I was hypothetically slandering, but nice try. This is also a clear and obvious misreading of my profile text, which was in no way implying the citizens of those countries are racist. Once again—untrained moderators with no apparent background in linguistic analysis, political studies, or even critical analysis of written material. Of course, PB can choose their own FP, that's fine, but there need to be rules and enforcement from above to avoid situations in which untrained and ill-equipped moderators abuse their power to threaten and intimidate users into silence.

And then I edited my profile to remove references to specific countries, calling them "major world powers" instead, and editing down other details. Unfortunately, FP was still not happy with that! Keep in mind that I removed references to specific countries as you read the next set of screenshots.

What right does FP have to ask this of a user, holding a rule which names "permanent exclusion" as a punishment over my head right before political elections? What right do they have to decide what users can and cannot say about on- or off-site political issues on their profiles or anywhere else as long as the content is not illegal or hateful? (and hateful here is debatable, since the ToS doesn't state this and SweetasNuts wants to open the free-speech doors to all kinds of content, which is his prerogative in his program). I was polite about this at the time because I did not want to be banned or jailed right before elections, even though I knew FP were in the wrong for this. I was civil for many weeks after elections, but FP have made it clear to me that they don't care how polite, civil, or even nonconfrontational you are, just that you aren't criticizing them and aren't getting in their way. They have no problem allowing trolls to pile on you, mocking you (in the case of LillyAnn mocking KatieBoutique in the last few pages of this thread), deleting and censoring your posts, jailing you, and potentially banning (as they have a historical precedent of doing) just to get you to stop being so gosh darn annoying about asking for transparency and fair enforcement of the rules.

For weeks I have been nothing but nice, I've been polite, I barely participated in the Democracy Failures thread and certainly didn't criticize. I've been kind and open and nice with the entirety of PH and I've submitted items to the shop, which I would love to continue to do! Unfortunately, I'm not sure if anything I draw now will be added. I'm not sure if my criticism will mean I can't submit anything (if that's not true, Blecky and TokiKonoe, please let me know as I still want to contribute and have a good relationship with you both as far as I know). It ultimately does not matter how nice you are or how you lay out your points—if you lay them out at all, they will (theoretically, hypothetically) reach out to someone you had a civil online discussion with several months ago, ask them to post dirt, and let it sit there hoping everyone decides you're a bad person. At minimum, it served them socially and politically to leave it up. No worries! I know who you are now.

(full version with links in other tabs of my profile as well as my xeets) Hey all, this is your Minister of Fashion
Pollyx! I can be wordy, and am here, so here’s a TLDR for those who
trust me and just want to know the gist of it: Seriously, for real,
actually this time, cancel your Senatorships. Do not spend money on the
site. Remove the site’s access to your paypal. Do not volunteer for the
site or run for public office. This includes designing for the shop! Designers and prospective designers, I absolutely love you all to death, but this has got to stop.Anyway, the longer version:SweetasNuts,
the owner of this site, is an abusive person and known cheapskate who
refuses to hire new staff or adequately pay his existing staff in favor
of exploiting free labor from his users. Those who DO volunteer for him,
sometimes paying for the privilege of doing so, are treated
abhorrently, subjected to gaslighting and emotional abuse both publicly
and privately. I have personally experienced rampant mistreatment from
SweetasNuts (as have many others) as recently as today! If
you want an example, check any SweetasNuts thread and read it. I don’t
feel a need to drop a bunch of receipts below when it’s overwhelmingly
clear, but I hope those of you who know the love I’ve put into this site
will take me at my word. I have loved Ximboland and love it
still. At various points I have put more than full time hours into this
website and the shop in an attempt to make things better—usually
completely unpaid, as I did a lot of work before I became Minister of
Fashion. The saddest part, at the end of it, is that no matter how much I
work and how much love I put in the site will always get worse on
average or nosedive into oblivion (as we are seeing right now) due to
actions of trolls, hackers, or most primarily—Chris himself. There are numerous sources online which discuss Chris’s behavior as a business owner in-depth, both on this site and on its previous iteration, Miss Bimbo. It’s pretty clear the guy is a troll who likes when people get upset and throw a fit. In that sense, he may love this post!If
you’d like one recent example of someone bringing up issues to Chris,
being subjected to abuse, and being unable to sway Chris away from
terrible decisions, here’s one from a little over a year ago!
And yet nothing changes—the same cycles continue. New people join, they
see the community is lovely yet has a few flaws, perhaps some bad eggs
(rampant trolls), or maybe someone in the Pink House seems like they’re
abusing their power. They work really hard to rise up, join the
government, fight the “enemies” of the day, etc. and the whole thing
just causes chaos and misery for the most part and the site owner sits
back with popcorn.Oh wait, I forgot when Chris put numerous
ximbos (some who disagreed with him, others unprompted to my
understanding) on trial last year for having “bad fashion”! Here’s the trial for Melpomene, renowned designer, shop worker, and previous Antitheocra SM. Here’s the trial for KittyOnyx, who criticized Chris’s behavior. This one’s for Dean Winchester,
who made the grievous mistake of wearing a pink thong as a himbo.
Egregious, right! How dare a man dress in pink? Anyway, moving on.
Anyone care to share older “Chris is consistently a huge jerk to his
players and volunteers and never listens or fixes the site” examples
below? Now, when I talk about “volunteering” for the site
(aka what I am trying to convince you not to do), here are the positions
I mean:Partially paid (larger treasury cut, in theory, but extremely overworked):Prime XimboPartially paid (meager treasury cut —pennies on the hour):Minister of Fashion (gets meager treasury cut—pennies on the hour—so still a volunteer position)Minister of Entertainment (gets meager treasury cut—pennies on the hour—so still a volunteer position)Minister
of Foreign Affairs (gets meager treasury cut—pennies on the hour—so
still a volunteer position, plus you’re doing marketing for free. Not
super fun!)Minister of Justice (gets meager treasury cut—pennies on
the hour—so still a volunteer position, plus you’ll be absolutely
exhausted by the effort of moderation and part of the userbase will hate
you no matter what you do)No promise of payment/unpaid:Fashion Police (exhausting moderation work, now with kneecapped abilities to even stop abuse thanks to SAN)Fashion Worker (the people who upload items to the shop)Fashion
Designer (those who design for the shop—believe me, I have tried very
hard to convince SAN to reward this position in any way but was
unsuccessful)Not only unpaid, but PAYING to do this position:State
Minister (have to pay for Senatorship plus pay for all of the prizes
out of their own pocket—when you receive prizes from an SM, it’s because
they paid for them with real-world money)Please don’t do any
of this! I have been in the Pink House since October 2023 and am very
close with those who have been in or around the PH even longer or in
different time periods. Nothing changes. Talking to the site
owner doesn’t work. It doesn’t matter how you explain it, he won’t
listen and he doesn’t care because he continues to make enough passive
income to ignore people’s complaints. So what now?Well, first, let’s stop giving him that passive income, especially
given the recent major hacking incident has proven AGAIN that the site
is not secure. Chris is a liar—do not trust him when he says your
payment information is fully secure just because of Paypal, that is not
necessarily true. Remove your Paypal from XL (on the Paypal end) and
consider removing your bank accounts from Paypal for the time being,
better safe than sorry. When you spend money on this site, it
does not go to the people running it, to those who put in love and time
into moderation, the shop, contests, and even advertising the site. It
goes to Chris, who does not pay his staff properly and does not improve
the site. He only makes it worse based on his agenda. A small amount of
Senatorship goes to the government ministers, sure, but the amount is
not significant enough to matter (and there’s decent evidence that the
treasury doesn’t even reflect what it should be—⅓ of the cost of all
Senator subs). Besides, half of the treasury this term will go to
KatieBoutique (since she and her alt Slayyyocrates are both ministers),
and if any of you have been paying any attention to Katie that will
likely ruffle your feathers. It’s not worth contributing to
this place financially. It does not help the site grow. It does not go
to fixing bugs. It does not go to adding a mobile scroll bar. It does
not pay your favorite designer. It does not fix minigame glitches. It
likely won’t go to refunding people’s State Wars purchases after the
hack or restoring corrupted outfits (IF restoring them is even
possible). Cancel your Senatorship, never buy top-ups, don’t volunteer
your time for the site, and turn on ad block! Don’t let Chris get your ad revenue either! That’s
pretty much it. I do have some last thoughts if you’re interested, but
if you don’t care feel free to leave. It’s up to you to decide what to
do now. You can still help the site if you want to, but I strongly
believe it’s really only going to degrade, and as shown by the hacking
incident, this site really isn’t secure. It’s built on popsicle sticks.
You could lose all of this at any moment. Are all these users who lost
their outfits ever going to get them back? It’s really hard to say.Secondarily,
if you want to make a difference in the world there are a million
better places to do it than on XL. If you want to make art in a
community, lots of ways to do that too. Art Fight, a yearly event, is
great for this. You could make a game, write a novel, make outfits in
the Sims, join another dressup game (I hear some people here are making
one), generally touch grass. We should all touch grass. If it’s about
making the world a better place for you, maybe you could join a local
chapter of an organization that means something to you or donate what
you WOULD have spent on top-ups to a good cause. Join a rally, write an
op-ed, talk to people you love about what matters. If you want
to keep in touch with me, feel free to message anyone on XL you have on
Discord and they can probably connect us, I’ve got a lot of people
added.Alright, and now that we get to the end I just
want to shout out the users who have spent a lot of time showing love to
the users and uplifting the site as a whole. None of them asked for
this or even know that I’m doing this, so I won’t list them by name as
much as category. I may have individual personal issues with some people
on this site (not most), but I think this is kind of beyond that. We
are all victims of an exploitative site owner who constantly sets the
site up for interpersonal conflict because he finds it hot. He gets off on all these sexy bimbo avatars going at each other’s throats. So this is kind of an act of solidarity in that.Thank
you to all past and present government ministers, prime ximbos, state
ministers, fashion police, fashion designers, fashion workers, and
anyone else who has run contests or events.Thank you to the
active duelers staying up late into the night, the state generals and
citizens fighting for their state, those who help others get their
curious badge, those who leave comments on all the new players’
profiles, those who share gifs on weird gif wednesday, those who share
support when someone says they’re struggling or upvote posts in
Reputation Points Helper thread. Thank you, even, to those
I’ve fought with, those I’ve made up with, those I still dislike, those
who grate at my nerves. You’re part of the site, too, an ecosystem we
all exist in—this insular little community. Though of course I
will be leaving this community now, probably permanently. Not sure
about emigration yet—we’ll see. But I’ve got big things coming up soon
in my life and I can’t have this site’s nonsense messing with my groove.I’ve
loved growing as a person through my interactions with each of you and
I’ve loved designing and adding for the shop and running events and
making outfits and all of it, but I hate the way the site is run by
Chris (which is: generally not run at all, and if it is it’s done
maliciously). I hate receiving constant abuse from the site owner and
trolls and hackers and I hate seeing other people experience that too. I
hate that this site many of us feel is a second home has become so
foul, is rotting from the inside because of neglect and mistreatment
from the site owner. I had enough mold in my real life home last year,
as many of you know, and find myself uninterested in choking on the
spores here.Anyway, so much love, care about you all (except
in those few cases where the feeling of dislike is mutual, in which case
I say one last hearty “fuck you!”). Stay slutty, babes.

ur obviously running for PB just to make it ur own personal power trip factory for ur shitty beliefs that no one besides u cares about. a lot of the people on the game just wanna make outfits and bringing real world politics into it more than it already is , tired . there are already enough annoying trolls on this platform and everything hes stating will just make it worse. and make the site even more unbearable. the politics can be a fun feature but when you bring hate speech into it and just disguise it as “freedom of speech” is just what every self proclaimed “conservative” uses as an excuse to be a dick. how abt u stop being so full of urself get down off ur high horse and listen to the PLAYERS. the ppl who are active members of this game. the COMMUNITY. not ur own shitty internal thoughts about what you want. idk im sick of the hateful ass ppl on this website who think theyre better than. it doesnt need to be this deep.  the political aspect is an important part of the game to an extent i do agree but why does it have to be this fucking extreme? why does it have to go that far?  if you wanna play president trump so badly just go make another game focused around politics. a majority of the bimbos here obviously arent interested in joining your brown nosing cult so why pull us into it? the fact that this 40 something year old loser who has kids and a family is trying to make this platform into something more republican than it already is , is just sad. theres a community here of real people who want to enjoy this game without getting attacked or sucked into anything they didnt ask for. this site has enough trolls as is why do we need to make it a farm for them? these posts are just screaming hypocrisy. we dont need to make it anymore extreme.

To Kirsty: Because you are a moderator on a public forum and there is no expectation of privacy for your moderation actions. The messages I exchanged were neither a punishment nor an official "warning" and as we have discussed, that policy is egregiously ripe for abuse and deeply unfair. It is my prerogative to be open about this interaction given I was the one who was sent the message by FP mailman. A new message could have been sent to me with the edits via FP Mailman but you chose to put your name on it and so your name continues to be on it. There is absolutely no rule on this site which prevents people from sharing personal messages, and if there was... why is Susan's reply still up?

Oh, oops! I think FP just accidentally deleted my post which directly references and discusses Chris's manifesto as well as questions users have about it and requests. This may be because it was replying to a post which is now deleted, but it had many of its own separate points which were unrelated to the post I was replying to so I am reposting it here with the references to the post reply removed.

Many posts from this thread have been deleted but many have not! Interesting information for SweetasNuts if he's reading this thread. This is what the moderators are up to on this site. What happens when the moderators are the ones posting cruel or insulting content? No worries, parody isn't illegal and it's allowed under free speech, insults etc, pull up your big boy pants, sure, but it's worth pointing out that in the previous thread, I've noticed numerous posts critiquing the moderation style of the current FP, the behaviors of staff, etc. have been heavily edited or removed (several entire pages have been deleted) but posts discussing the vaginal health of a user as well as one which violently insults a different user's appearance and pretty disgustingly goes into what plastic surgery she requires for her weight are still up. In this thread, a user who has never been involved in these threads before went completely off-topic to bring up my blocking message for her from months ago, something completely and totally irrelevant to the thread, and that's still there. I wonder what reason there could be for FP, who I critiqued with good evidence in my previous reply, to leave such a post up? Perhaps it might benefit the FP to leave up a post which exclusively serves to damage my reputation after I posted something criticizing them? Perhaps as political propaganda, meant to serve the exact purpose of weighing undecided users against any valid point I might make on the basis of their own underinformed assumptions?

Of course, I did point out the ToS statement against over-moderation, so I didn't report the post! And Butterfly (or AuntieLice, I can never remember which of you trolls it is!) has a point—I did ask for a post to be removed several pages before which was insulting one of the SMs in an ableist manner, but my point there was the inconsistency. Leaving these things up isn't always a problem if that's the moderation style (which it is, under ToS), but there's such obvious inconsistency it pretty clearly shows favoritism as well as the priorities of the moderation team. It also points to obviously-evident censorship. When dozens of posts politely critiquing the moderators and current government and making valid suggestions are removed for "adding no value to the thread" or "point is irrelevant," wording choices I have already pointed out are subjective (as well as how those posts' removal is against ToS for moderators), but vile insults and mockery of users and posts which are completely off topic (but which benefit the moderators personal or XL-political interests) are left up, I think that's worth investigating. In fact, I think it's worth emphasizing over and over, and I hope any users who read this thread who are unsure how they feel or what stance to take will simply take a look at the previous three pages (or perhaps go peruse the Democracy Failures thread to witness for yourself some of the posts that were left up, unedited) and decide for themselves how they feel.

I also hope SweetasNuts will take a look at these posts in order to better understand what he's working with. If you want democracy as the site owner, you have to understand leaving choices up to the FP and PB or the time goes directly against that goal unless checks and balances are added as an expectation or ideally even a coded feature in the site. Of course, that would require an administrative staff who are politically neutral and willing and available to make changes, not just for future PBs but just in general. I'm not the site owner, I wouldn't know best how to do that, but I might suggest an audit of current administrative staff and their behaviors as without doing so, the site is never going to change, the situation will not improve, and the political organization of Ximboland will always be swayed in favor of those who will abuse their power and silence, jail, and ban their opponents.

I ask you, SweetasNuts—will you make these necessary changes as site owner and not exclusively as PB? What I and others have described, requested, and praised in terms of checks & balances and auditing of staff (and our references to your program notes on such) is so emphasized because without these changes, the site's democratic system is fundamentally flawed and ripe for abuse. If what you want is a completely free and open political system and you are okay with political censorship, bias, and administrative abuse occurring on your site, so be it. But if you want there to be a chance for alternate political (and primarily functional, management and policy-oriented) views to flourish (when the users vote in favor of those candidates, of course), you have to alter the current political system to make room for that. As it is now, there's no guarantee popular candidates won't be silenced just because of the scope of powers the FP and the admin team have to do so. Of course, the current FP and the trolls are going to tell you this never happens, that the nasty badly-behaved lefties are always claiming that ridiculous "silencing" and "censorship," but can you really trust people who exploit their powers and abuse others to tell the truth? As a userbase, let's think critically here.

What's happening here is not an issue of left vs. right, it's an issue of in group vs out group as aided by too much power and corrupt administrative support. In the Democracy Failures, I saw SweetasNuts (potentially as the Miss Bimbo account, I can't remember) say "the cream of the crop rises to the top" as praise for what KatieBoutique described as the "FTL Dynasty." This is not the way to think about this. Look at this thread. Not just my post, but others. Look at the last thread, see what was left up. I don't know if you saw all the posts critiquing moderators—perhaps if FP was interested in constructive criticism, even of their moderation style, they could reopen the thread so that this thread could remain completely on topic? Food for thought, I wonder why that thread hasn't been reopened....? Ah, never mind, I have critical thinking skills. I don't wonder at all.

Do you really think people who approach moderation this way, who have the powers to do what they do, who make the forum rules that benefit them long-term, with alleged admin support in this, are really winning their "dynasty" through fair play?

Note: As of Susan's post on page 7 of this thread posting an irrelevant screenshot of a DM sent of my block message, which I did not know at the time would go to her, is still up as of 7:03pm Ximboland time on 1/8/24, while my post above and several other posts critical of admin and FP seem to have been removed. Food for thought.

Are you sure? Go check and find it before making false accusations.

A vote for Craig or chris or whatever is a vote for a corny 40 something year old man with 3 whole entire kids. Let’s start with my biggest issue. You say that you want to ban people for fashion that YOU deem unsatisfactory which really shows the kind of person you are. Fashion is art and art is subjective. You of all people should understand that. Enforcing a stricter fashion police is crazy. What happened to not banning people just because you don’t like them? Not to mention allowing people to vote more than once with an alt account should be considered “criminal” by your logic but hey youre for the people right. Then you sit up here and talk about “freedom of speech”. This can definitely give toxicity an outlet to voice literal hate and not just harmless opinions. Just a tad confused as to how removing the downvotes is supposed to make the platform more positive AND still give freedom of speech. But hey we gotta make this platform more positive you guys! dragging nonfictional politics into a game based around fictional politics is weird imo. If people want to discuss political topics on this platform that’s great and they should def be able to do that! But that group of people can just make a discussion thread for it instead of making it a weekly thing that’s encouraged to get everyone on the platform going. There’s many players on here that are looking for an escape from the drama of the real world and just want to make some cute outfits. Establishing irrelevant real world political parties in a literal fashion game makes no sense to me. Why try and divide us? Why try and separate a tight niche community? All this is going to do is cause problems. I mean, George Washington said it way back in the day and now look at where we are. With that said this game is not *that* deep so do not let a man take over the only kind of female president this country has. Support black lives, protect trans youth, save Palestine, buy local, save the rainforest, and gay rights :P
