i’m a trans man who was super happy with most effects of testosterone minus the facial hair. i got it lasered. it’s completely normal to need more appointments after the initial round to maintain the results, particularly in ‘problem’ areas like the chin and upper lip. i’m pretty sure this is the case for low t people too. my beautician recommended touch ups every 6 months. the maintenance sessions are way less painful than the initial ones since theres so much less hair :]

You don’t need affirmed of a fact… unless you’re insinuating that removing body hair makes women more of a woman because they’re adhering to societal expectations? This is the thing with the trans movement, they all claim to be so progressive and accepting but once someone shows GNC tendencies they slap the trans label onto them because they can’t comprehend someone can be free in their gender expression without having a mental disorder… it makes sense though, since all trans ‘men’ all tend to be self-hating misogynists anyway.

Going back to the real discussion, the trans label has been hijacked by people that are not indeed trans. This is a huge disservice for transpeople. These crazy woke “trans” activists wanting to violate women’s rights and indoctrinate the young will ultimately bring down trans acceptance as a whole. It has already started, reason why now women are starting to speak up and say enough is enough. Iowa I’m glad you are happy with your transition, it'd be a crime if you weren’t.

I think its important to mention that the 'frontal lobe development' thing is very complex. The average neurotypical person's frontal lobe develops around 25 years old. This does not, however, apply to people with any kind of neurological abnormality (ie. ASD, ADHD, PTSD, long term depression, etc.) which is extremely common in trans-identifying people. Even to say that anyone under the age of 18-20 cannot determine and act on their gender identity is ludicrous. People of all ages deserve access to gender-affirming care and specialized clinicians.
To claim that cisgender people are claiming to be transgender en masse is incredibly misleading, as the majority of those people are transphobic and only do so to take advantage of any trans-inclusive spaces. Not to mention that there is nothing phsysically stopping a cis, male-presenting man from walking into a womens restroom. Internalized transphobia does not make you any less of a target from the people trying to take away your rights. This rhetoric is the same as the LGB Alliance, or people of color who take action against the safety of their own oppressed communities.
