7% of sexual assaults are perpetrated by strangers. Trans people are 4 times as likely to be the victim of an assault. These people do not 'have a victim complex', they are cautious of the likelihood because it is so common. I'm genuinely glad you have someone to help you feel safe when you need it. no one is saying that women aren’t sexually assaulted all the time or that the majority of victims of sexual assault aren’t women. we are saying trans people are also often victims of sexual assault and that risk is exacerbated by a lack of access to the correct facilities. i’m going to once again point you to the links i posted a few pages back about the rate of what you’re describing actually happening. in the european countries that have self-id laws and protections for trans people’s access to public facilities, there has never been any evidence that the millions of women and girls who live in those countries have had their safety compromised. no documented incidences of assault in women’s facilities because of this. no statistical increase in sexual assault correlated to the passage of these laws. similar reports have been made by law enforcement agencies and sexual assault prevention organizations in the states. you are fully allowed to have concerns and voice these concerns but you also have to consider whether or not those concerns align with reality. homophobes of the 70s-90s had concerns about gay people in locker rooms, too.

Iowa- You are saying exactly what the problem is. How do we know what intentions a male has when they go into women's spaces. Do we just roll the dice with every man and see what happens? The definition of what is to be a trans has been altered to include just about everyone, that is the problem. What part of that is confusing darling? In all my life I've never seen a regular looking dude go into my locker room and everyone was like ah ok he belongs there because he isn't doing anything. No, mofo would be chased out and even men would be like wtf are you doing mate? There are articles of trans doing damage to women spaces but you are choosing to ignore them. Being trans does not give them the right to steal sports from women. When talk of trans division comes up they don't want that because women are easy to beat.
Sexual assaults have increased in womens spaces since any man can identify and be allowed to use spaces they shouldnt be using. only fully transitioned people should be allowed to enter teh other sex restroom. in this case men who have fully transitioned and are now trans women is okay. this is what women deem okay for their spaces. women dont want penis swinging about in their spaces where they have teens girls and little girls

I support people's right to be happy. For some people with gender dysphoria that can mean drastic changes to their lifestyles and/or bodies. I think it's bad enough all these necessary procedures and medicine cost money - they should be free, as all healthcare should. We should wholeheartedly support people's decisions regarding their bodies and lives. I don't know their life experiences so the only right course of action for me is to stand by them.
