Seems I wasn't clear enough. If you don't have anything to say to Halo keep it to yourself or use your perosnal messages to poke each other with a stick. If you have blocked each other even better stick to your choice and don't talk to each other.

Let this be a lesson not just for your XL journey, but for your content creation journey as well. This situation is the textbook definition of what to NOT do when shit hits the roof and you have to advocate for yourself. People take things out of context, people look into too much of what you say.. however you cannot expect that everyone is gonna understand where you're coming from when in one way you state your fans watch your videos for your thoughts (which I assume are authentic(?)) then under the same breath you admit HERE! I SAID IT FOLKS! IM JUST PUTTING ON A SHOW! A CHARACTER! Creating content is complicated, maintaining your online persona is complicated, trying to fabricate yourself in a way that may appeal an audience is a whole trial and error of its own. I'm sure you can agree.

Word goes around like a game of telephone, your original intention may have been harmless- but you cannot actively diss the people that had something to say or clarify about what they heard come out of your mouth on stream when they have no other context to see how you did not mean it to the extent perceived. These people also don't know you in person, your personality, YOUR TRUE SELF!

Nobody is cyberbullying anyone, nobody is ganging up on anyone- nobody actually cares enough to do that. A player that may not be familiar to others wants to step up to PB position- so take what they have to say with a grain of salt, speak your truth, and be respectful. You don't have to like everyone on the site or agree with what they have to say, but you can control the way you react to them and what your next step would be considering theres this huge advantage on XL that prevents you from reacting in the spur of the moment. (aka being a online website) You don't have to respond right away, you can take a few deep breaths, maybe even a couple of hours away to reflect, try to understand and THEN move forward. Take care of yourself and take it easy. I truly come from a good place with this post so I apologize if there was a point I made that may have rubbed you the wrong way.

edit: I would also like to add that I believe it would be to your benefit to make a statement/notice in regards to content creation, how you're gonna use XL for it and the type of content you want to put out that pertains XL. I know judging peoples looks is a literal aspect of the game, but it's new for everyone to have someone do something like this. This is a small community in comparison to more mainstream games and sites. If this has been causing issues, I think it would be best to clear your name and put everyone on board. I think that's why a lot of what you've said may have been taken more personally than intended. Idk, ultimately its up to you whether you want to do this or not.. Considering you're the first person to advertise XL outside of the platform for more than what it's known for (like its controversies), it's good to set a baseline or at least inform people of it especially if you're gonna use other users. and once again, small game, small community. its like we live in a village where everyone knows each other and on top of that, word goes around..

You may not know this but I do face constant 24/7 harassment from IRL stalkers (social hacking, SIM card fraud, radio tower hacking, malware on my computer). If I can deal with their inescapable repeated abuse, threats, and harassment, then I can handle critics and drama-starters through a website that I can close at any time (+ I have taken breaks from this website as much as I can while still maintaining my campaign and SM duties). That's why I say I'm stronger than most people on this website and in PH + that's why I haven't gotten too personal with people through here. This shouldn't scare you, they've never attacked anyone close to me or threatened to. You're safe from this gang whether you're my friend, my enemy, or a stranger (they only have an interest in me). I don't run and hide and lock myself away like I used to. I assert myself, I break out of my comfort zone and create content. Maybe it reaches someone who's also struggling with such things and lets them know they're not alone and that staying strong is an option that everyone has. 

I am working to get back to many things including an interview and answering more questions that have been asked in this thread. This is what I have been working on over the course of a few days. I’ve noticed that some people think that I am exclusively using other people’s ideas for my campaign and I hope that this post proves otherwise.

If I am elected for Prime Ximbo, members of PH will come together and define doxxing, hate speech, and harassment that meets the needs of the people + can be used as guidelines for any future leadership to follow or tweak if they feel improvements should be made. Here is a standard that I will put into place for doxxing.

Definition according to Oxford:

Doxxing・ searching for and publishing private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the internet, typically with malicious intent.

My definitions that will be of use throughout this post + for people to hear:

Doxxing・ a cyber-attack tactic that involves searching for and leaking or clearly threatening to leak private or identifying information in a public space or private space.

Private or identifying information ・ a person’s real name, home address, IP address, private correspondence, phone number, and aliases (usernames to other websites.)

What do the people think of an instance where, say:

Person A finds Person B’s instagram handle, Person A posts a picture of Person B’s Ximboland account to Instagram and tags Person B’s personal instagram to that?

This is why we need the people’s input when creating laws instead of doing it all based on our own personal opinions. I say that this is a crime in Ximboland worth jailing Person A over and that it falls into the category of doxxing relational to Ximboland. Someone else might say that it falls beyond the government of Ximboland’s control because it happened off-site. Both parties are members of Ximboland and the platform of Ximboland was used to commit doxxing.

Doxxing will be labeled as a Tier 1 offense・ The first offense will carry maximum jail time + a warning that if the offending behavior is continued, it will result in exile. (Note: it’s been a recent debate on if a person can be exiled if they’re a Senator, while I understand that profits of this website are important, so are people’s digital footprints and livelihoods, which are priceless.) Doxxing is a non-negotiable Tier 1 offense. The warning to Person A would read, “You have committed a tier 1 offense. You have been sentenced to 30 days jail time for doxxing. X image shows you posted Person B’s Ximboland account to Instagram and tagged their personal instagram account to it. This is a violation of the safety of others. Your next Tier 1 offense will result in your account being banned.”

Tips for avoiding doxxing:

-Choose a username that doesn’t include personally identifying information that you’d want to keep secret.

-Choose a fresh username that you don’t use for another website.

-Read the community guidelines for what is considered doxxing to Ximboland.

-Be aware of what you share. Don’t share your personally identifying information or that of others with other members, whether publicly or privately.

What to do if you think you’ve been doxxed:

-Clarify that this instance breaks the community guidelines

-Screenshot the instance of doxxing

-Report this instance of doxxing using the report button feature

-Message a leader; Prime Ximbo, your State Minister

I’ve made this example with the intention to provide a rough guideline with what is best for Ximboland in mind.

If anyone feels that these punishments are too strict or too relaxed, feel free to post in this thread your opinion + reasoning. If anyone has any questions surrounding both my manifesto and this post, feel free to ask + post in this thread.

Halo I like the idea about having info/guidance on Internet safety regarding doxxing on the site. I think a lot of people don't expect it to happen to them and can leave themselves quite vulnerable. A lot of people use the same username everywhere and it can be so unsafe to do that but they aren't aware of that. I also think your stance on doxxing is good and balanced.

What do you think about 2 months terms? This is the first time we are going to witness it so no one can judge it yet. But we might have opinions. Imo it's short but potentially has some good sides. What are in your opinion pros and cons of having it 2 times shorter than before?

Thank you so much for asking, LillyAnn! I think 2 months terms is not the best idea. I like 3 months terms for Prime Ximbo election and 4 months terms for State Minister election. I find this system to be honorary of the 12 months in the year and keeps everything from getting too stressful. I think when both Prime Ximbo elections and State Minister elections happen at the exact same time, it can make campaigning more stressful for people of all ranks, legal aliens, citizens, Senators, State Ministers, Prime Ximbo, admins. A shortened Prime Ximbo term would make it difficult to get more laws instated and agreed upon. I'm not saying it would prevent any lawmaking altogether, just that Prime Ximbos have less time to get everything done that they'd like to get done. The only pro I can see is that it's less of a time commitment for the Prime Ximbo. It opens the door for Prime Ximbo + possibly FP to get paid earlier than before. Prime Ximbo can always run for re-election if they wish to accomplish more with the people of Ximboland or just want more time to help govern and take care of the people.

Polly very clearly asked how you would handle the situation, nowhere did they imply you would condone it. They then went on to point out that your proposed 18+ guidelines appear to be less conservative than they are already, which highlights yet another complete lack of political awareness or consistency in your manifesto (on top of everything I've pointed out already). Polly then surmises you hadn't put much thought into 18+ content and the myriad of different avenues that could go down and probably haven't got any real plan on how to carry out your proposed changes - something I agree with. Once again however, nowhere did they imply you would condone such actions, they simply made the claim you probably haven't put much thought into how you might handle that, along with other content that you deem to be unsavoury.

I didn't even say that sexual roleplay would be allowed on the site more than it has been. Pollyx was the one who made that up. I wouldn't allow sexual roleplay threads to be added to the forum during my time as Prime Ximbo because I would need time to appoint FP to assist me in that duty. The reason why I say Pollyx implied that I would condone p*dophilia and r*pe is because she came literally out of nowhere to ask such a thing. There isn't a lack of political awareness or thought to it on my end, quite the opposite actually.

Btw- I'm sorry if you saw that in The Slayyycast before in this message, I meant absolutely zero disrespect to you or your post.

I think accommodations, boundaries, and respect are a huge part of life. Fulfilling SM duties is incredibly important to the people of Ximboland and the functionality of the site as a whole. As long as it can be done, there's no reason for concern. There is the availability to send photos through private messages. I think using PMs as opposed to Discord would be great to utilize if it ensures boundaries being protected.
