Hello Halo, thanks for posting your manifesto. I’ve been keeping an eye on things for a while and I’m saddened by the way the narrative has been spun here. I wish you had responded meaningfully to constructive criticism instead of calling others trolls—I don’t really think that kind of response is a positive trait in someone wanting to hold the highest public office on the site. I’m not attacking you, I don’t dislike you, and I hold no grudge against you, but as a fellow member of PH I think it’s worth bringing up some concerns I have about this program given previous events and interactions we have had privately and with the whole of PH.
While it is understandable to sometimes miss things, I expressed to you that the specific SMs in question (past and present) were hurt by your actions (which spread false, negative, and damaging information about them to an audience of internet strangers) and that they might appreciate a simple message to discuss the situation, perhaps an apology if you wanted to do that. Obviously, your choice! However, it says a lot to me that you did not do that and you are claiming here you would encourage the other current members of PH to pitch in their ideas when you haven't done that yourself? Have you collaborated with us? Have you talked with us in group discussions about site plans? Have you tried to foster an amicable relationship as (essentially) coworkers? I don't know that I would say you have!
Not to place too much of a burden on you here, but it would have taken just two messages to two different people, short and sweet, to let those other members of PH know that you were wrong and are sorry for spreading misinformation. The ability to admit when you were wrong and foster healthy relationships with others is surprisingly valuable and kindness and compassion is a meaningful asset to this position. It saddens me to see you running for PB despite the fact that you have refused human connection and collaboration with others, an opportunity I privately and politely offered to you. There are essentially no downsides to having a respectful relationship with others, and yet you haven't done that. I don't feel that you care to work with the other people who are also passionate about this site and contribute vast amounts of time and energy into it, don't feel that you see fit to read their messages enough to understand how this site actually works, what is going on, what the rules are, what might potentially be important for you to know or do, especially in a role like PB.
Additionally, I find your plans around r18 content to be not extensive enough. If you’re thinking illustrations and writing are okay, what does that mean? If you allow NSFW art, that would be different than the current policy and actually MORE open about r18 content, but it’s also a can of worms you’d have to be prepared for. What content exactly would you allow vs not allow? How will you handle situations and support your FP if someone, say, posts illustrated art of a character who is clearly a child? What if someone roleplays nonconsensual content? What will you do then? The complete lack of a plan here says how little you’ve actually thought about this and shows that you are unprepared to handle the burden of this public office.
It's really disappointing to see you post this having taken no initiative to improve your relationships with others in PH, no attempts at collaboration, no ability to simply read communications with other current PH members, no attempt at even a simple apology. That doesn't give me confidence that you actually care about the site and community here as much as your stream views, which haven't really been mentioned in the main manifesto. In fact, when people mentioned your VODs critically you actually made them private. Do you not want people to know that you stream about XL, that you talk negatively about others debate answers on stream, that you rag on other people's outfits and claim people are copying you, that you copy and paste other people's words into your manifesto, that you shared hurtful misinformation about other SMs which you outright refused to rectify with your audience or privately apologize for? That you share private PH information with the public without permission? Any of that? No? I don't get it!
And it also makes me wonder: if halobear8 is a Twitch streamer for XL (they are), a Youtuber for XL (they are), has made sure to mention this at every opportunity without otherwise engaging in site dialogue, and has already prematurely shared private Pink House information with online strangers on stream (they discussed Fashion Week before anyone else knew it was occurring, among other things), how can she be trusted to keep site information private? How can she be trusted to not exploit her position for views? How can she be trusted to respect site users and their differing opinions, including about "sexual" topics, a fairly obvious and straight-forward draw of the game for many people, and nothing to be ashamed of on a site called Bimboland? Does halobear8 not care about insulting and pushing away well-meaning site users who are just having fun with this cute little site we all love? How can users, Pink House members, and admins trust that person?

This was discussed among PH and the fact that you are saying this is proof to the fact that you do not know what is going on with the other members of the government you work with. Why would you just lie to me? Lying for no reason is not a great quality for a PB. Also, my bio lists 'no pronouns, genderqueer,' not sure why you couldn't take the time to check that for real? What if my pronouns had turned out to be something else? What's with the hurry when you took so much time to fully read multiple entire posts from me out loud on stream and put points inspired by them in your manifesto?
~10min (forgot timestamp: “This person is known for targeted harassment on the forum and they haven’t been banned in the past because one of our Prime Ximbos LillyAnn attempted to ban this person but they encountered an error and so instead of doing what I would have done as someone with OCD is ask ‘why can’t this person be banned?’ And I would have seen, hmm, they’re a Senator right now, so perhaps they can’t be banned because they’re a Senator, and I would have asked questions like ‘why can’t this person be banned, is it because they are a Senator?’ That’s what I would have done for sure. And then additionally, we found out later on that the reason why they couldn’t be banned, somebody said flippantly, “‘the reason why they can’t be banned is because they’re a Senator. And so that person purchased a Senatorship very quickly after seeing that message and I was aware that person was a citizen up until someone said they couldn’t be banned because they’re a Senator, and Senators can’t be banned, and there it is the secret’s out there. I wish you would stop using your mental health as an excuse for things and a reason for why you know better than others. As a fellow person with OCD, I find this idea a little ridiculous.
