Before Cherri even mentioned she was running I was getting a bad taste in my mouth. But I do have to agree that this entire thing is turning into an absolute shit show for everyone.

But just hearing about the fact that Halo made a video for her fans and went about bashing others fashion and whatnot, in character or not, isn’t the best look.

Hi, I’m sorry I have to make this quick so apologies if it seems blunt and rude - I haven’t been keeping up with this thread at all, and have only come to have a read since halo posted on my thread recently.

Guys, go touch some grass. This is a silly little booby game, it’s supposed to be fun. I don’t condone this behaviour from anyone. Halo you have largely got defensive with a lot of your posts, but I can assure you, I am not sending people after you just to make you look bad, that’s disgusting behaviour. I’m running in good fun and faith. This drama largely reads like a personal argument between you and Polly, it’s not related to me in the slightest.

I wish you good luck in your run, if you wanna have a vent about stuff privately I’m totally open to it. Please take care.

True but heres the thing what happens outside this site is not relevant, Chirs has even said so. All we should be doing it judging from what we see on the site and the site alone. Personally i'm voting for Sweetasnuts simple because we will most likely get changes that he said because he is the owner. I don't like the wording in Halos manifesto and i won't vote for Cherri because her and her friends have been coming at me since Decemeber and they are crybullies.
I also think we all need to remember we all bash each other publicly or in private to our friends. We as humans bitch about each other its just what we do.

Case in point ^^ 2 show up at the same time. In my personal opinion its all fake and just for show.

hi i really dont want to get into any of this drama, i have absolutely nothing against halobear even if i’m helping cherri with her campaign and given im not in the pink house i dont know the context or history to any of this quarreling, but considering i’ve been repeatedly accused of ganging up on people and being a “crybully” kirsty can you really just not conceptualize the idea that some players are friends outside of this game? not every instance of people associating with each other is secret shady coordinated cyberbullying. you seem to have no issue when some other people deliberately coordinate with each other to 2v1 other users but as soon as it so happens that multiple users share a negative opinion about something or someone then theyre in a secret group? this is supposed to be fun and i’m sorry that there’s obviously some bad blood between people but you don’t need to pour gasoline in the fire by implying there’s some kind of hate campaign.

Cherri has every reason to come on here and defend herself. Just like everyone has that right. Katie is also trying to give Halo a genuine chance. Yet somehow you just see it as bullying? Kinda funny considering who I’ve seen you be buddy buddy with.

But that’s not the point
The point is that this has turned into a dramatic shit show of pointing fingers on who is worse when there’s absolutely no need for that. If you can’t handle it with some grace and professionalism, maybe you shouldn’t be going for a roll that requires both of those.

Halo, if you plan to take content creation seriously you need to develop a thick skin for unwanted criticism/opinions, bullshit, and trolls. Yes I have experience with creating content, I've had TikToks reach 500k+-2million views and garnered a pretty solid following because of it. (Though I would like to emphasize I have retired due to my workload and inability to consistently put out content- ITS NOT EASY! The only reason I mention this at all is just so you can understand I get where you're coming from. I'm not trolling or starting drama and I understand what it means to be a content creator.)

With that being said, I'm not pointing at anyone in this thread for being a troll or that they're spewing random shit against you. If anything, people have been incredibly nice to you regarding what you had to offer following up with genuine questions and concerns. I went through the pages, I read up on everything during my procrastination. I truly believe that your replies have not been mature. Look at everything that went down in December, if you and your XL team comes under fire like that are you really going to respond to everyone the same way you did here? If so you're no better than the actual trolls on the website and you're genuinely gonna drive yourself nuts.

Being a PB doesn't mean you have to let your guard down and kiss everyones ass- it's good to be assertive, unbiased and maybe even a bit strict.

Let this be a lesson not just for your XL journey, but for your content creation journey as well. This situation is the textbook definition of what to NOT do when shit hits the roof and you have to advocate for yourself. People take things out of context, people look into too much of what you say.. however you cannot expect that everyone is gonna understand where you're coming from when in one way you state your fans watch your videos for your thoughts (which I assume are authentic(?)) then under the same breath you admit HERE! I SAID IT FOLKS! IM JUST PUTTING ON A SHOW! A CHARACTER! Creating content is complicated, maintaining your online persona is complicated, trying to fabricate yourself in a way that may appeal an audience is a whole trial and error of its own. I'm sure you can agree.

Word goes around like a game of telephone, your original intention may have been harmless- but you cannot actively diss the people that had something to say or clarify about what they heard come out of your mouth on stream when they have no other context to see how you did not mean it to the extent perceived. These people also don't know you in person, your personality, YOUR TRUE SELF!

Nobody is cyberbullying anyone, nobody is ganging up on anyone- nobody actually cares enough to do that. A player that may not be familiar to others wants to step up to PB position- so take what they have to say with a grain of salt, speak your truth, and be respectful. You don't have to like everyone on the site or agree with what they have to say, but you can control the way you react to them and what your next step would be considering theres this huge advantage on XL that prevents you from reacting in the spur of the moment. (aka being a online website) You don't have to respond right away, you can take a few deep breaths, maybe even a couple of hours away to reflect, try to understand and THEN move forward. Take care of yourself and take it easy. I truly come from a good place with this post so I apologize if there was a point I made that may have rubbed you the wrong way.

edit: I would also like to add that I believe it would be to your benefit to make a statement/notice in regards to content creation, how you're gonna use XL for it and the type of content you want to put out that pertains XL. I know judging peoples looks is a literal aspect of the game, but it's new for everyone to have someone do something like this. This is a small community in comparison to more mainstream games and sites. If this has been causing issues, I think it would be best to clear your name and put everyone on board. I think that's why a lot of what you've said may have been taken more personally than intended. Idk, ultimately its up to you whether you want to do this or not.. Considering you're the first person to advertise XL outside of the platform for more than what it's known for (like its controversies), it's good to set a baseline or at least inform people of it especially if you're gonna use other users. and once again, small game, small community. its like we live in a village where everyone knows each other and on top of that, word goes around..

I'm on holiday at the moment and I've not really been interested in getting too involved with the dress up game politics but I have been lurking.

This whole thread is a bit of a shitshow and I feel bad for halo, even though I don't think she really helped the situation with her responses. I continue to wish her good luck for the election and halo thank you for answering my questions earlier in the thread. I found your responses mostly insightful into where you stand.

I apologise for the continued derailment but for just one time here I'd like to say my peace.

Kirsty it is absolutely wild that you are barging into multiple threads across the site and complaining that you are being bullied and ganged up on. You literally spent Christmas dogpiling me with your friends because I dared to ask some extremely valid questions (which I finally got answered by Chris because you were being deliberately obtuse). When I called you out for this behaviour you kept accusing me of "playing victim".

Now you barge into threads deliberately saying inflammatory things (half the time they're not even questions and they're always in bad faith) and then immediately start whining you're being ganged up on and you start playing the victim.

This is not ganging up or bullying. You are being rightfully called out, often with evidence of your own behaviour. This is public opinion turning on you because they're tired of it. Just because a lot of people hold the same opinion, it doesn't mean there's some huge conspiracy. It means the majority of people think you're in the wrong.

Leave halo's thread alone. You're hurting her chances in the election and it's unfair to her. Let her answer questions as she wishes, let her post her fun propaganda pictures. Let her enjoy the game. And yes, some questions are difficult and she maybe responded to them poorly, but this is her thread. Let her own the floor.

The only reason they are getting offered interviews is because i asked if chris and halo declined one since only cherri got an interview. Kathie got angry and they all got defensive over it. Honey said they reached out after my question yet kathie felt the need to post in this thread a couple pages back she would do it when honey already said she offered. Its up to Halo to accept or decline the offer from honey which is her right to so. All kathie is doing is trying to peer pressure her into doing it.

I continue to be confused by the fact you post in a public forum and constantly stir up issues then act surprised that people have every right to reply because you don't control the space.

You can invent whatever circumstances you want over what happened over Christmas but we all saw me ask if users couldn't be banned because of senatorship, you refusing to answer and being obtuse then insisting you were uncomfortable because I dared question you and then days later, me asking Chris who just simply answered the question. Meanwhile you as moderator supported others sending repeated abuse to me and then when asked to moderate deleted evidence of your poor behaviour whilst leaving the abuse up on show. All of this is evidenced. You can twist the narrative all you want. And even after all this, I've left you well alone and I've not responded to half the constant drama stirring you've done on the forums trying to get weird jabs at people who are tired of how people are treated. Yes, I reply every now and then but it's because I'm tired of watching you drag down every single thread with your blatant hypocrisy.

As said in the roleplay thread, it was a roleplay thread. Anybody could show up to interview who they wanted. If you truly cared about interviewing people you'd have done it but you'd rather talk down to anybody else having fun than actually play along and take part in the community.

People show up "all at once" because you can subscribe to threads. Then you get notified if somebody replies. Many of us are invested in the election. There's no conspiracy here. A large number people are tired of your behaviour.

Please stop sabotaging halobear's thread. She deserves a fair shot and you bringing up your personal grievances is hurting her chances. Challenging questions pose an excellent opportunity for candidates to show how they respond under pressure, address holes or issues with their manifesto and help steer those of us who are sitting on the fence into a direction. Chris handled this aspect of his manifesto well. I'm hoping Cherri and Halo can demonstrate they can do this too. This is the nature of politics.

Let the community heal from the constant drama. Let people roleplay and have fun. Let people make friends with one another. You are putting so many people off and they deserve to have fun on the game.

Halobear, please don't be discouraged. I'd love to see more posters and for you to do some more campaigning. I am finding the roleplay aspect of the election incredibly fun. :)
