My bestie, arrives in town Monday.
  I'm actually very nervous.  So many things are possible, and usually I'm the total control freak.
I PLANNED NOTHING. (except to put my son, and his wife on notice to babysit-  On call.)

I know she is coming to see me but "WHY",is the question.  She can't really afford a trip like this.  I may have been the cause.  I offered her a room in my house, and a job with another firm (competitors, but I can't work with her as her boss).  A silly request really to imply that she didn't need to stay in her abusive relationship with the child's father...  I'd offer just about anything to get her away from a bad man........... 
Just buying her own airplane tickets for her and her daughter, was extreme.  She knows that she will be pampered with me, but still......
I'm shocked, and happy that she chose to fly HERE.

  Then I want to scream at her for spending money she doesn't have, to visit me.

  I sort of am feeling shamed right now. 
   I love her, but ........
  complications.

I hope so.

The nice thing about friends is acceptance.  I wont be disappointed.

I've been taking a little break from posting in the forum.
My priorities, are not always with a game.  I seem to share that attitude with many of the past players of Miss Bimbo.
I've been noticing a sever drop-off of posting in the forum.  Could it be that there is nothing really to talk about THIS GAME?

Sure I can gossip about my own life. Sure I could talk about other online games like Ma Bimbo.  Yet can I talk about "Bimbolands?"
Players are joining everyday only to see no progress.  It is disappointing to say the least.
SweetasNuts, is forgetting about the target demographic of the players of his game.
Just having a Forum, and the basic framework of a game is not enough to get anyone to join and pay to play.
Even I can't really think about anything to write about anymore.  The Founders Inn and Pub is just more or less a diary to me.  Written by one player, and read by thousands.  Intimidating I suppose.  A Pity.
The way I see it, is I've lead a very full and exciting REAL Life.   That is no reason other players who might be more youthful can share stories too.   The problem as I see it, is the newest generation can't write about themselves anymore, because computers and cell phones are the entire life they know.
So a game making a political community, is totally 'brain-damaged.'  People on-line only have programmers, to think for them.  What is there to think about when life has become nothing more than bits and bites of digital data.  A cute avatar, of what life once was.

I was hoping to see some political debate.   NOT HAPPENING.
Who dares to in a politically correct world?
Yet, how many people did I anger, talking about my lesbian life?
Would I upset the religious folk too, because I'm well versed in the Bible?
I am politically active in my real life community. I'm no longer interested in Breeding, and men I see as pathetic memes just looking for sex.  My opinion of course.  It is not easy having more than the common man, and it causes complications that few women would understand anyways.  I'm the stupid BIMBO around my friends, because I'm a 'Hella good actress.  My girlfriends actually inspire me. (my muse)

My numbers of active voters might be a little off, but it is often said only 23% of American VOTERS, even bother to vote for a leader.   No wonder America is declining faster than, Cesers ROME, circa 200AD.  Some things including a Great Empire, never survive when corruption and laziness becomes a political platform to rest laurals upon.

My son is such a cute MAN, now.

I had a fun morning with him.  It is so funny when your kids grow up and get married.  I find myself a little jealous of him.  OK, not so much him but his wife.  My husband was a good man too and I gave up on relationships only because none have ever since met my expectations after he died.
  So it becomes strange to see your husband in a child.  He even brought me lunch.  I do find it amusing that we mostly just talk about work, and cars, and he tunes up my computer.  (he built it and takes an unusual interest in maintaining it)  He even tried to set up an appointment with me for an adventure in the mountains.  He just bought a new truck that is totally BAD-ASS, and wants to show it off to me.  I find it totally adorable, that it is how he expresses himself.  I'm glad that I can at least speak his language when I need too, because he grew up with the adventures his father and I did with him as a child.

It causes me to feel very emotional though.  With Stephi, and her daughter.  I wish I was that young mother again.  The best time of my life was spent raising my sons.  To be around a baby girl, is such a new experience for me. I don't think I could ever have another child now, or it would be unfair to the child to have such an old mother.  I would say this is a harsh emotion to feel as you grow older.  I never felt like this before, because I always tried to be a little care-free, and would do the same things as if I was still a 20'something.  The passage of time has caught me a little off guard.  I don't understand why I don't feel old around my son's or my girlfriends.

I realized something as I was writing this. 
When I was 16 years old I was friends with people 10 years older than me.  Now I'm friends with people much younger than me.  My best friend is 23 years younger than me.  She seems more grouchy and irratated at life and people, more than I.
A second, casual friend talks about her boyfriend, and the stories she tells me, just don't make sense to me.  The things he does, and she puts up with just doesn't compute in my brain.  Our conversation this morning actually made me angry. She has no right to complain about a drunken boyfriend if she is the one buying the beer, the only one with a job, and a car. What really made me actually raise my voice to her, was when she told me that she was letting him take her car, and driving when DRUNK to pick up his friends and more beer.  It seemed so foolish of her to whine about his behavior,  and showed me the text's and facebooking crap he was sending to her.  She was very upset this morning, and came to me for counseling.  During this time, he was texting her about killing himself if she didn't go to 'Her Apartment' right that minute to take care of his needs.   She lasted for only an hour before she left, to attend to a total ADULT baby-man. 
  Is he the typical American man, in LOVE ?
I Think NOT....  Yet, how can you convince a friend?

She isn't attractive to me, but I seriously think she could find a better man, she has her good qualities.  Why she is settling for Tommy is only explainable because he is an attractive man in 'LOOKS' alone.  He is very handsome, with a soul that smells like shit.  Not the makings for a happy life, in my opinion.
It sort of bothers me that she comes to me to cry about him, but does nothing to fix the problem.  I told her to stop buying him beer.
  What else could I say after she told me she thinks she is pregnant?
I asked her about why she stays with him,  and her reply was totally stupid.  He tells her that he loves her only when he is drunk, so she buys him beer.
It is so sad to see people suffer because they need to feel loved...

How do you tell someone they are being USED, not loved?
The dilemma makes me want to cry, and I'm not even emotionally involved.

As a side note:
I thought it was odd when she began to show me the texts her boyfriend was sending her.  I almost thought that was an invastion of privacy.  It actually made me feel uncomfortable seeing what Tommy was writing to her, and sort of took it personally myself.  I wanted to steal her phone from her and write the 'BREAK-up' TEXT.  Playing the suicide card is PURE EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL.
  He could drink himself to death and do many women a favor. (in my opinion, with some history of knowing much more of the story.)
He has no right to place his problem upon a lover to fix.

Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 3 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Internet republic of Ximbolands holds elections every 4 months for Prime Ximbo and 4 months for State Minister.

Where do important discussions take place?
The Town Square.

What is the treasury/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of the Internet republic of Ximbo land. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 4 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo citizens.
A percentage of the money paid by Ximbo citizens via Paypal and SMS is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is wisely used for further game development.
