Politics forum, sure. I'm not the deciding factor here. I'm just saying I wouldn't personally do it, which is why instead I just put it in this forum thread as a suggestion. I also posted in the thread that I wanted to edit what I previously posted and no longer would like to be quoted as "despising the notion". (Literally the entire quote you used was the reason why I posted saying something different and more calmly.) Additionally, the politics problem is not necessarily solved in my perspective because I wanted it incorporated as debate topic not as another forum topic.

Chris, rather than allowing lots and lots of alts which poses a number of issues for the game in terms of security (banning people who legitimately harm the site, preventing cheating which would essentially defeat the point of the game, making elections fair and ensuring the right person is taking on the paid (albeit not by much) position of keeping your site running smoothly, what about implementing a feature where everybody has one account but has the set ability to switch "characters" and post as characters (with their username also attributed to their posts). This would allow for the roleplay you're wishing to enable in the forums whilst giving us added functionality of being able to have both a himbo and a bimbo and we'd not run into the other problems.

Some of the stuff you want to achieve, I don't think the community would actually object to (rolling out better features), it's the way you're wanting to attempt to achieve some of these goals which is baffling.

I really think you'd benefit from just taking a step back, allowing the Pink House/(and maybe volunteers supporting as they're already super busy) to develop a survey engaging with the community and just doing some fact finding and finding out what people really want. They can make recommendations and then it'll be up to you to do what you please as you are the site owner after all but you'd at least be making informed decisions then. Unfortunately your responses in this thread indicate that you are way, way behind on how things are running, the culture of the forums, the potential issues and what actually needs addressing. Listen to those who are running things. This doesn't take away from your status as site owner. Governments have advisors. Listen to your experienced and knowledgeable site users.

if the desire is to have multiple characters to play as i think it would be a lot easier to just allow each player to have a max of 1 alt account considering i don't know how difficult it would be coding-wise to implement the ability to do what you're suggesting, as much as i love the idea.

I don't think ideas and solutions should be disregarded because they'd be difficult to code. Chris said he didn't want "lazy" answers and he said he's willing to invest a little in changes. He wants to change the entire purpose of the game from dress up to "social media" and as the website is in desperate need of modernisation, I think there's an awful lot that needs doing regardless.

If he wants to use that as an excuse, he's welcome to but let's not make it for him.

my 2 cents in regards to returning banned players:
-ultimately, what is stopping someone from making a new account NOW even if they have been previously banned? this has happened before where users that were banned made new accounts. maybe some slide under the radar, other times they get caught. I believe we should focus on current situations and problems rather than inviting potential new ones. once again, whatever technology it is, is easy to bypass. if you're banned on chrome you could log onto safari and make a new account lol.

Chris, I believe these changes should have been discussed with the PH members and admins first. I understand that you want to bring attention to it, to have a 'fair democracy', but if you're truly going to stick with the plans you have proposed here I genuinely believe you should have considered mentioning this to a smaller group of people. If any of this was genuinely possible to implement and not with generalized statements. There is diversity in the PH when it comes to beliefs and what you want, you would have had fair feedback and straightened things out. Eventually you could have opened this up to the public.

I don't say this to single out the rest of the people and quite frankly, I can't think of anyone that mentioned something here without understanding their side- believe me. I feel like as much as there is really good feedback, some bits and pieces feel personal, unnecessary, speculative, and off-topic. Like a real government, some things should not be public- at least not right away. THIS IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE TRANSPARENCY OF YOU STEPPING IN AS PRIMO BIMBO! I believe when it comes to delegating such a high role to yourself, that should be known. Although with all due respect, this is walking a really fine line of dictatorship. Yes you are gaining input from others, but in a really messy way.

If there is a demand for the positions he offered and people are open to do it, who are we to stop anyone? Transparency should absolutely be provided, kinda like a McDonalds job interview. They tell you that it's minimum wage, you take it or leave it. Other games have users apply, admins look through the applications. Chris, do you want to do something like that? Because once again, I think there should be proper collaboration with yourself, PH + admins. SMs and PB work hard to manage and maintain their states, it takes dedication and quite frankly a lot of trust. I feel like it's not uncommon that someone who applied for SM drops the position leaving the state without an SM, this happened last year. So please. if you're going to do all of this and make it a free for all (if I understood this whole thing correctly cause quite frankly this has been hard to keep up), at least moderate it PROPERLY. If you are going to make this happen gain some input from those that work (or volunteer) for you and XImboland. We can't stop you from making these decisions but at least take the suggestions. This came out of nowhere and feels under-planned.

yeah you're right!

also ximbo: the way they track alt accounts is through IP addresses, which is the same regardless of what browser you use and can only be changed if you're on a different device on a different internet connection or use a VPN every single time you open this website. as a banned player, giving players who were banned unfairly (and some WERE banned unfairly, i was there, and i have proof) the option to come back is an important step in transparency and accountability at least for me. it's admitting that mistakes were made and people were hurt by them and trying to make amends. even if banned players are allowed to stay on a new account it is still unfair to force them to start over. i made a new account after a while because i missed the site, but my friends didn't because they were very attached to their old accounts and didn't want to start over. undoing those bans is reparative justice.

I don't think Miss B would much care about PCUMA cheating, and in fact congratulate her for "trying so hard" using the same logic he is using with using alts to rig elections. I think it would be impossible to have PCUMA pay back real money, unfortunately that's just not something we can do. Also, PCUMA was never banned. She left the site of her own free will.

I imagine none of that money would go towards the site staff (PH, SMs, FP, etc.) Because we don't get anything now. We can only hope that if a new owner comes around, they do everything you have said in your points, Rei. We just want respect and recognition.

As for voting, it really doesn't sit right with me voting for a new owner/against Miss B. If anyone is thinking about buying the site, by all means do, if that's something you want to do. As for me, I'd rather go back to roleplaying as a Bimbo and enjoying my dress up game, than talk about finances and new ownership. Personally, I feel like this should be a private discussion, off site, to maintain professionalism.
