Hi Chris, these changes to policy put more responsibility on individuals to maintain their own online safety. I'm not sure of the benefit of this but it is your website so there's no use arguing over it.

However, this is a change to how things are currently running so I have another question. One of the most important things users can do to ensure online privacy is to ensure they use unique usernames for each website. Some users may not have been aware of this upon signing up and will be vulnerable to doxxing.

Will you be offering users the courtesy of a free username change on the website so that they may better protect themselves?

A change to how things are running? How are things currently running?
I dont see how it was ever anyone elses responsibility but their own?
We have a site with fake names and fake profiles.
So how can anyone doxx anyone with info gleamed from our site alone?
Its impossible.
If someone's personal info gets out there then its purely down to their own mistakes ie joining silly forums and giving their personal names away.
Yes we can change peoples bimbo names as well if that helps but I don't see that as the cause of the problem

Okay, I'm not gonna get involved in all of what is going on right now. This is just coming from my perspective, as a typical player. I joined this game because of a Youtube video I watched. Without that video, I would've never even known about this website at all. That being said, the video outlined a history of problematic behvaiour on the site, how it was in the earlier years and just the overall negativity the site emulated. First of all, changing the rules at the drop of a pin isn't fair. People have been banned for some of the things you are wanting to lift, this will only go back on the word of the PB's and SB's. This won't be a good look. I am happy with how they run things and on the few occasions I have interacted with them, they have been nothing but pleasant. You state they don't do a good job and you're disappointed, but what exactly have you done from your side though? I understand, you are the owner of the site and everything ultimately is up to you, but don't you at the very least have some respect for the decisions the PB's and SM's have made? Because they've done a pretty good job at it. From your side, other than owning the site, what have you done to improve our experience on this site? As someone stated prior, you haven't responded in what, 2 years? Again, I understand you own the site but how is it reasonable to be absent and then to make your return with a list of demands? Like a big big big baby throwing their toys out of their cot just because it wasn't the toy they wanted. Listen to your PB's and site users. The things they say are cause for concern. You're completely overlooking and sugarcoating very real issues with the site and attempting to "fix" things that don't need to be fixed, instead of the things that do. To our PB and past PB's, yall have done a great job and I'm always happy with the outcome. I'm sorry that you're being undermined by someone who isn't even present.

All of these things happened on Ximboland forums. In fact there is still a thread out there (two actually 1,2) promoting this very thing, albeit cleaned of evidence. The government did not do their job, they destroyed the (hard) evidence and allowed the perpetrators to continue doing what they were doing after a stint in jail. That's how its always been with them, absolutely no change in behavior. They've even been praised by a PB for being such good little trolls and doing "so damn well". Seems pretty corrupt to me that the government cleans up for them and praises them, protecting them after all these years and letting them attack people. In fairness, I have dealt with some PBs who have really tried to defend the populace against them and I was so grateful that something might finally be done about our little bug problem, but at the end of the day they always "had their hands tied". Is it not your job as the owner and President to investigate these things? "All the more reason for me to be the PB" okay whatever whatever we get it. I'm just saying that it's been a huge problem that's been driving good loyal (paying) citizens away for years and I want you to be acutely aware of it.

Your besties getting exposed for having 20 alts each and getting banned for it and then their remaining friends leaving because all their friends got banned doesn't count as us driving "good loyal (paying) citizens" away.

A few points -

1) You said I am not present/havent been seen in a few years.
Yes thats correct because thats exactly how i planned and created Ximboland! That was my whole idea ie built something and let teh community run and grow it. That was my EXACT idea ie in 2013 building on my experience with Miss Bimbo I created Ximboland knowing full well that i am busy and knowing full well we have a loyal group of Ximbos whom would love to manage the community if I can structure it right and fairly. From 2006 - 2012 the whole of Miss Bimbo ran with volunteer moderators.
I decided and planned a better way to do things and that was Ximboland. So here we are! So its a bit pointless telling me i am doing exactly what I planned. I know that.
I have planned to disappear again soon - Miss Bimbo should be seen and not heard

2) Its possible for me to hold the dual positions of being very grateful to the PBs on one hand but also frustrated with them on the other.

3) I am holding the government to account. I suggest you do the same

Thats a perfectly reasonable question - its holding government to account. I quite liked to see that. Its rare we can see government being openly and honestly debated and its covered up as a joke. If anyone is state minister then they need to stand up to scrutiny.
We need open communication here so I do not understand what your issue is here
