Ximboland democracy failures and how to address it
On the topic of things being kept hidden. This isn’t an attack to anyone in PH- but I have to agree. Whether this is for good or bad reasons I honestly don’t know. But my first question is: why was there no court case for Iowa/Juggalo Rights? Why has there been no court cases for a lot of people who were banned? These people have been banned and then the only info we get on it is FP saying they were justly banned. But…idk that seems really strange to me, wheres the proof, why wasn’t it presented to a jury? I personally don’t like the idea of a select few people (the FP - that aren’t voted in either, they are chosen) being able to dictate banning players from the site at their own discretion. Whether that be now, later on in the sites future or previously in its history. No one should have that kind of power, that’s why I believe court cases are really good for the site and offer loads of differing opinions, keeping it as fair as we can possibly get it.
People calm down. The 'dynasty' has ended. I anymore have no wish to run for 3rd term. Kirsty isn't intrested to be even an SM. So you all are safe from us in future.

Iowa is perfectly within her rights and its useful for Ximboland to have her share her opinion here openly against the establishment without fear of punishment or recourse.

However to be truly democratic we need to have all those things above PLUS the ability for outsiders to win and the ability for outsiders to criticise the existing government free from fear of reprimand or punishment

First thing first. We have elections each 4 months, right? There are 6 SMs eligible to take part and PB as 7th. Maybe SMs who didn't take part in elections can give their 2 cents why they didn't. Same goes for senators who didn't take part in SMs election.
This way you basically put the blame at that one person who actually took part in election. This talk is not new, it was talked in forum a few years ago, we talked about it during my PB terms and maybe the same talk went between you and other previous PBs. Things change, my state had 7 senators running in SM election a couple of years ago. Then it was 3 or 4, then only 2 and finally only 1.
As someone who was both SM and PB I can tell with the confidence that no one can make me to take part in elections unless I want it, same goes the other way around - no one can stop me from taking part in elections if I want to try. It is on me to decide for myself. Same way it is on other players to decide for themselves what suits them best.
Since Iowa is right and also likes to challenge the government, maybe the right questions for him would be:
1) Why Iowa didn't take part in any SM elections with this account, or this acc., or maybe this acc.?

Many PBs had open applications available to any player to apply (myself included). Some of us did have conditions such as being at least this level or playing actively for at least that time and such, but there was never a requirement that someone has to be a senator for example. Moreover, my application even stated that new people were welcome ie. players who were not SMs or never were part of PH before. If you think that Fashion Police didn't change for a couple of years I can list you all the players who were FP since Iulja terms. I certainly know that during my terms I had 2 players as MoJ and 5 or 6 players as FP from whom 2 or 3 went inactive at various points in time.
Now if you ask why PBs didn't switch their staff more often unless someone goes inactive the answer is very simple. You just don't do such thing unless it's necessary. If you got the active team that works well, cooperate, already know what and how to do, why would you change them? How often is PB supposed to change FP - each term, 2 times per term, each month, maybe each week? How often PB has to deal with applications for new staff and teach them how to use tools? Yes, it takes time that can be used for something that is more constructive and more needed at the time. It also takes time for someone who has just become a forum mod to get comfortable with the role and using these tools.
On the topic that FP become known to each other - well of course they get to know each other if spend time together daily, everyone knows their coworkers. I had FP members whom I didn't really know already and guess what - we became close, such things happen. During state wars players who never talked to each other before started talking, some became friends, got to know each other and so on because they got the same task and something to work on together. Same way as SMs get close among each other - they have the same task, exchange experience, etc. and eventually become friends.
